What is Carbon Browser?

We tackle privacy issues with our comprehensive dVPN, firewall, and end-to-end encryption using ToR, all included at no extra charge. Users can dive into a fully engaging web 3.0 experience that includes essential crypto features like a multi-chain wallet and bridge. Our highly optimized engine guarantees swift page load times while also blocking unwanted ads and trackers automatically, ensuring a smooth browsing experience. By effectively removing ads and trackers from every site you visit, we maintain both user experience (UX) and browsing speed at their highest levels. The AdBlock feature in Carbon Browser effortlessly eliminates all disruptive ads, greatly improving the overall online experience. It also actively blocks video ads on services like YouTube, unwanted sponsored posts on Facebook, and distracting banner ads. Additionally, it addresses pop-ups and pop-under windows, which results in faster web page loading times and reduces clutter, creating a more focused browsing space. Carbon Browser’s open-source code is maintained on decentralized servers, offering a secure and distributed alternative to conventional file hosting, further highlighting our dedication to user privacy and security. Moreover, the integration of these features not only enhances the user's online journey but also contributes to a more secure and effective internet ecosystem. This cohesive approach ensures that users can navigate the web with peace of mind, fully protected from potential intrusions.

What is Ad And Stuff Blocker?

Ad And Stuff Blocker (AASB) functions as a content filter specifically tailored for Safari on Mac OSX and iOS, with the goal of providing a seamless user experience right from installation. It features a minimalist interface that avoids complex statistics and unnecessary design elements, concentrating instead on a whitelist for sites that users are not likely to visit frequently. The functionality of AASB remains uniform between iOS and Mac, ensuring users enjoy a consistent experience. On the other hand, the Ad And Stuff VPN Content Filter (AASVPN) is designed for Android users, leveraging VPN technology to potentially eliminate ads and adult content across all applications, not just web browsers. This application can be thought of as a customized hosts file for Android, adeptly controlling network requests by intercepting DNS queries that transform user-friendly names into numeric IP addresses. If a queried domain is found in the hosts database, the application responds with an Unknown reply to the original requester; otherwise, it forwards the query to the DNS server, which defaults to OpenDNS but can be adjusted based on user settings. Together, AASB and AASVPN seek to enrich the browsing experience by reducing the clutter of unwanted content across multiple devices and platforms, thus enabling users to navigate the internet more freely. Their complementary functionalities highlight an increasing demand for streamlined and ad-free digital environments.
