Overall i think the Acumatica platform offers good reporting and many different integrations with other software tools. However I would like more options around setting up API connectors in-house.

The reporting and visibility to data is nice. Also the different AI features that Acumatica are incorporating with generating reports or gathering specific data is also a plus.

There are no API connection that can be done in-house without the need to buy a license from an ISV. I would prefer plug-in options to set up the native connectors without the need of external entities.

Being able to pull all files into an excel from multiple accounts - referring to parent/child accounts and statements

There are over 500K files that need to be removed/deleted but there is no option to delete as a batch

Acumatica is a strong, modern ERP choice particularly for growing small-to-mid-sized businesses (SMBs) or those that expect change/growth. It’s especially compelling if you need flexibility, modularity, cloud deployment, and a vendor with frequent updates and strong user satisfaction. It tends to hit a sweet spot: more feature-rich (or flexible) than light accounting tools, but more user-friendly and modular than many heavyweight enterprise ERPs.

You can pick and pay for the modules you need (finances, inventory, project accounting, CRM, etc.), and scale up or add features later.

Learning Curve for Advanced/Custom Features
Basic features may be easy, but for more advanced workflows, custom reports, integrations, etc., users need training or external help.

I would recommend all the small and medium business entities to have this ERP for easy maintenance of their books of accounts.

The Acumatica ERP is very user friendly. It has all the features from the recording of the transactions and automatic preparation of Financial statements.

There are no such cons for this app as this very useful for keeping record of all the transactions.

Overall Acumatica gives a great experience, being in the cloud, ability to create custom reports and custom processes, it can very finely cater to any business needs.

It is very flexible, and with ISV integration and customization, it can provide solutions for any processing needs. The mobility is also a plus, allowing field staff to work directly in the system seamlessly.

The learning curve is very long since it does not have a very user-friendly navigability. Although there is an option to add menus to favorites, if you use a lot of screens as the base of your work, it clutters the Favorites menu.

Nothing as of now. It was a new system for our company so the features are different than what we were used to.

Even with a few issues, overall the system is very effective and efficient. He makes life working on inventory much easier. When handling errors in the inventory, it helps to be able to dive deeper into the past and movements of the items. They make it easier to find out where the item may have lived in the past and correlate where the item could have been moved to. The inventory needs these types of tools.

The features I like the most, are the ease of use when transferring items to different locations and updating purchase orders. The system is built for an inventory specialist especially when doing investigations on inventory errors and finding more details about a product.

The system does have issues when backtracking or updating many items. The system doesn't allow for changing more than when one item at a time for each location. You always have to go back to the home page to use the inventory details link.

This is the go-to ERP software currently and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a highly customizable and comprehensive platform.

Implementing it can be a time consuming process when considering customizations and data migration.

First thing to understand is Acumatica is not a tier 1 ERP. There are shortcomings. Having said that, the company releases upgrades twice a year, and they are significant. I have seen added functionalities every single release.

For a mid-size organization we are (between 600 and 1500 employees worldwide, about half of the workforce has an ACM account), we couldn't have bargained for anything else.

Ours is an on-premise solution (conscious choice), so I will skip the next section on Cloud ERP.

I have been to the NetSuite world, and it is evident that NetSuite won't have survived without a ton of money in marketing the product by Oracle

I never knew about Acumatica till I joined the organization I am in (consumables, in regulated industry).
As a systems person, I am impressed by the four things
- ease of configuration
- role assignment (whoever has used NetSuite knows how painful it is to "switch roles" every single time you have to perform a cross functional task)
- support team that really supports the customer
- learning path (free of cost Acumatica open university; NetSuite is not cheap)

Some challenges I have seen thus far:

- There is no EDI capability, which means there may be a gap on documents either created or sent over via API/endpoints
- Transportation path is not configurable (or I may not know how to get this one done), which means version control & change management is responsibility of application team/administrator/configurator

For me Acumatica is a powerful accounting tools I love the Generic Data Inquiry and how it can extract data and option export it to Excel thru OData and used it dashboard with a very simple step.

Easy and simple to use and takes little time to training for the users to become comfortable with the tools because of the training materials and help articles available.

Little bit expensive

Copy function on G.I. has no replace option, Copy paste function is applicable when you created new Generic Inquiry Report.

Overall, Acumatica offers a great balance of features that empower businesses to grow and future-proof their technology stack.

Acumatica has intuitive features that give users easy access to the transactions and data they need to efficiently complete tasks. Specifically, the sidebar is essentially a window that offers a glance into a related record or transaction eliminating the need to navigate away from the primary screen used for a task.

The interface is not as pretty as what you might hope to see if you are an avid user of online services and SaaS products. Although not essential for business, pretty interfaces help make long workdays easier to weather.

I honestly am beyond pleased with this software. It has made my day to day and one off tasks so much easier. Communication and tasks are listed in one place so if someone else is working on a file they have all of the information right there.

Ease of use, everything you need in one place, eliminates the need for dozens of additional software's and spreadsheets, integrates with emails, create tasks and communicate all in one place.

It took a little while to learn, and understand, but the end result is 100% worth a few gray hairs

Acumatica is always innovating and coming out with new features. There is a lot of information in the Acumatica Community Forum that will make it easier to implement new ideas.

Some features are lacking, specifically in the WMS.

The Solver team has been incredibly helpful in meeting our needs throughout implementation and maintenance. Solver products are intuitive and easy to work with.

The Solver cloud data warehouse has helped our organization to fully utilize the structure of our GL chart of accounts in a meaningful way. Report Designer assists in creating customized, dynamic reports to meet the needs of our organization. Solver has allowed us to make our financial reporting dreams come true while building efficiencies in our processes.

The Ad Hoc Reporting tool was established to replace the Composer tool. While Ad Hoc Reporting has greatly improved since it was rolled out, it lacks the tenacity and durability of Composer. We also have complaints about data importing steps backward from version 4 to the cloud version. Solver has responded with plans of improvement. If both of these matters are addressed, our rating of this product will be 5 stars.
