    Great tool for a small non-profit

    Bill.com has been a great tool to systematize our work making it easy to track and make payments. It also have a system for collecting electronic approvals which makes life easier come audit time!

    Positive

    We are a small non-profit without a dedicated administration or accounting team, and bill.com has been a great way to easily pay invoices, even to international donors. Customer support has been prompt when we've had questions or need assistance.

    Negative

    The paid service can be a bit pricey, but I have not found a cheaper alternative that allows for online approvals.

    Summary

    This is a great product to help you pay and track your outgoing money. Having the checks cut for you is such a time saver. I like that they take client feed back seriously and the client service is great if you have any issues.

    Positive

    This is a great way to pay all our bills in one place from multiple sources. It is intuitive to use . You can set up two or three way approvals with this system to streamline your approval system.

    Negative

    They don't send out true remittances, only notifications. It would be nice if they notification included the invoice numbers being paid and all credits taken. Integration with Quickbooks Online is a little clunky and needs some work.

    Great way to pay invoices

    Overall I really enjoy using Bill.com for its easy to use system. Invoice entry is amazing and automatically populates a lot of information. The approval process and payments is easy to use. Tracking payments and seeing how soon vendors will be paid is great.

    Positive

    I like how easy it is to add new invoices to be paid. Once the invoices are in the system it automatically matches them to vendors. This can help quicken the data entry process. It also allows us to maintain internal controls by allowing a remote worker to make the payments and separate the work. Being able to pay vendors via electronic fund transfers is great and the process to request the vendor set it up is easy on our end.

    Sometimes I have to help vendors set up the electronic funds transfer information. It can be confusing on their end sometimes.

    Useful interface for A/R, but challenging for my customers

    Overall, this platform is helpful for me, but not user-friendly for my customers. I feel it could be further developed to be more user-friendly overall.

    I like that Bill.com connects to QuickBooks and is user-friendly for people who don't have extensive experience in accounting. The features are intuitive, and tech support is available via chat when I need it.

    Negative

    From an A/R perspective, it is cumbersome for customers to connect and pay their bills using the platform. If they made it possible to pay via credit card or bank transfer instead of going through so many steps to sign up, my customers would be happier to use bill.com to pay their bills.

    The new generation bill management system!

    If you're in a business that handles a lot of paper bills, this platform will save you a lot of time and money by automating the cumbersome process of digitising and saving these bills.

    - The image processing feature works excellently, as soon as a new bill is uploaded, it is converted into digital text and saved. Makes it easy to save and forget bills.

    - I would appreciate some data analytics on my past usage and some suggestions about how I can reduce the spending on some things.
