This application will retain its classic feature of creating backups every 30 minutes while in use and once more upon closing. Users can effortlessly modify the backup directory by going to Help > About > Arguments > backup-dir and entering their preferred backup location. There have been numerous inquiries regarding the use of services such as OneDrive, Dropbox, or Time Machine; however, former users have reported issues with file corruption when depending on these automatic syncing options. While we recognize the interest in finding an alternative online backup solution, it is important to correctly configure these services to mitigate any risk of file corruption. Additionally, we advise all users to regularly perform manual backups to an external device to protect against data loss resulting from computer issues. It's essential to remember that the responsibility for these configurations falls on you, so please refrain from asking for our help with this aspect!
