What is CPU-Z?

CPU-Z utilizes a configuration file called cpuz.ini, which allows users to customize various settings of the program, and this file must be placed in the same directory as cpuz.exe. It's worth noting that using this configuration file is optional; if the .ini file is missing, the software will revert to its default settings. Additionally, users have the option to uninstall the application by navigating to the Add or Remove Programs section in the Control Panel's Settings or by selecting Uninstall CPU-Z from the Start menu under Programs, CPUID, and CPU-Z. To facilitate a seamless uninstallation process, users are recommended to close the application prior to initiating the uninstallation. This ensures that no processes are running that could interfere with the removal of the program.
