Great onboarding

PositiveThe on boarding experience was great. Stephanie Wolfe did an amazing job answering questions and responded quickly to any issues I was having.
NegativeIt would be nice if there was a better way for searching for items, customers, and vendors. Some sort of drop down menu when you start typing would be nice.

All Encompassing Product
Date: Jul 30 2024SummaryOverall, this is a great product! There is a lot of functionality and it honestly keeps track of you inventory in a much better way than the previous POS systems we've used. Also, they don't cancel you for selling firearms or firearm related products like many other POS systems out there. Our store is going to be getting our FFL soon which Celerant is going to be a backbone of when we pull that trigger. If you are in the firearm or shooting sports world, this is a must have system!
PositiveWe got into Celerant after using 2 failed POS systems. Celerant has been able to provide for us nearly everything we were needing in a POS system. Along with managing our inventory and being able to place PO's easily, their ecommerce has made it able for us to get off the ground with online sales. Celerant provides you a team of people that are there to not only train you, but also help you troubleshoot any problem you may run into.
NegativeThe only cons I really have is 2 minor things. 1, there is no quick or easy way to adjust inventory totals for something that isn't a part of the integrated vendor system. Which isn't really a big deal once you learn how to utilize the system. The other is the inability to move some items into a different category on the ecommerce side. It would be nice to be able to move some of the integrated vendors items to a category of you own choosing instead of the assigned category.

PositiveLearning how to navigate the system was easy. After one training session per topic with Stephanie or support, I was able to navigate the back office and POS with ease. All of our cashiers were able to learn the system quickly and love how fast it made the check out process.
NegativeOccasionally when customers are checking out, the system will fail to save a receipt. We also have issues of the system kicking us out of the back office while trying to add new inventory. This can be a bit time consuming, having to clear the cache, log back in and then retype the information that did not save.

NegativeThis is a very complex POS, so you're going to need to take a while to get to know. One thing I would recommend to Cumulus/Celerant, for gun shop retailers that sell firearms consignment and want to sell non firearm items via consignment. Create a firearms sale percent payout and a non firearms sale percent payout so that we don't have to go into System Config to change the consignment percentage each time we need to list an item.

Date: Feb 12 2024SummaryOverall I am happy, but occasionally hit snags that require assistance from the vender. Not all the features we had in our prior system are part of the default setup. I think we could have found more pitfalls up front if we had a trial period.
PositiveThe system is much more detailed than our prior system. It allows us to track inventory and sales in very useful ways.
NegativeIt takes more setup and some of the deeper functions are not as easy to navigate.

PositiveJared and crew did a great job with our store transition to Celerant! Training went very well and all questions/issues were resolved quickly. After using Quick Books POS for many years, we have found Celerant be much easier to navigate with the firearms industry. It's hard to give a 5 star review in general, but this company earned it. Thanks to all of you!
NegativeA little more in depth training for layaways. Didn't take us long to figure it out. Could have called Jared but we took on the challenge ourselves.

PositiveThe customer support is great. I have Nekie as my account manager and she has been helping me throughout the entire process. I dealt with Sheena in customer support. Sheena has gotten me the results I was looking for with just one phone call. I like that Nekie and honest with me, if there is something that she does not know, she will tell me that she does not know. The great thing is she will get me the answers I am looking for in a timely manner.
NegativeI would like to see the monthly fee to be less, but the product is a great product.

Quinn Celerant Review
Date: Apr 24 2023SummaryI have had to start from scratch when it comes to Celerant, and I must admit, it has been a large change from what we have now. We still have a long way to go, and until all the applications of the system are used on a daily basis, I will need to continue to ask for Celerant support, for which Im not worried about getting. Every employee, Quinn being the one of the best, has gone above and beyond to make this transition easy and set up correctly.
PositiveQuinn has gone above and beyond for our transition into a new system. Not only has he been thorough, but went back over things we needed more work on as the transition took place. Not only would I recommend him, I would consider this the easiest POS transitions I've ever been through.
NegativeI wouldn't say any bad things about the system so far, nor the quality of service. I would like to see a slight easier setup for the back office applications showing where things are located and what they do.

PositiveEase of use of both the backend interface as well as the POS side. This was an extremely smooth process getting everything setup from our end. Everything worked as it should on the go live date. Training was simple and easy to follow. Stephanie our train did great and quickly answered any questions we had very promptly. They don't set you up and leave you out to dry when the project is completed.
Negativethe only con is that we didn't do this sooner than we did.

Solid point of sale

PositiveWe use this point of sale for 3 years now in our store and it has been easy to use and the training was straight forward too.
NegativeThe software is pretty comprehensive which is a positive, but with that comes a lot of features that you need to learn if you want to use all of them in your store.
