A very solid performer with some querks
Date: Oct 13 2024SummaryThis is a great piece of software that I've used for quite a number of years. The interface is a little boring, has not improved or changed much but it is not dated. The performance of core features (email, calendar, tasks, contacts and notes) vary in their strengths and weaknesses but all perform well-enough and above average. There are a lot of under-the-hood features that screenshots won't actually show. Worth trying the free version (which is pretty full-features or better still the 30-day pro version and put it through its paces. All round this is a great Essential Personal Information Manager (EPIM).
PositiveThe Links feature to files, documents, websites and other programmes is brilliant and unmatched with any other all-in-one clients I've seen. The notes management is simply excellent, well thought out and handy. Tasks are great and drag-drop to calendar. - better than many! Additional features like the post-it notes and password features and duplicates removal are all great bonuses.
NegativeThe email interface is very dull and cluttered and having to resize all the dimensions of the UI after a while is irritating.

Printing options are very poor and badly executed.
Syncing between android and windows apps is pretty tedious and requires several attempts (although at least it does have this feature unlike many). When it works it is good though. No real PKM strong features nor ADHD friendly features.
