What is FlexDeposit?
It is crucial to make sure that your relocation doesn't overly impact your financial stability. We are excited to present a solution that helps you retain more of your funds. FlexDeposit offers a one-time, nonrefundable fee that operates similarly to a traditional deposit, yet at a much lower cost. This groundbreaking option is available throughout your lease period. Additionally, should you choose to move within the same community or to another property under the same management, you will not face any extra charges. Instead of the usual security deposit, landlords can allow tenants to opt for a singular, non-refundable payment to enter the surety bond program. As long as you meet your financial commitments and adhere to your lease terms—like paying rent and maintaining the property—you won’t have additional responsibilities toward FlexDeposit. However, if you do not satisfy these lease obligations, you will need to reimburse FlexDeposit for any losses, capped at the bond amount. This approach not only offers flexibility but also presents a cost-effective way to handle your rental commitments while relieving some of the financial pressure typically associated with moving. Ultimately, FlexDeposit is designed to enhance your leasing experience, allowing you to focus on settling into your new home without financial strain.

FlexDeposit review
Date: Jan 17 2024SummaryDon’t use this this is just a way to take money from you my landlord didn’t explain it to me, she asked me to pay my deposit and after a year where I was gonna move out she was like “leave the apt spotless cause your deposit doesn’t cover any damages, no cleaning, no nothing” then why would they make you pay a deposit that is not gonna protect their property???? They just want your money.
PositiveI don’t see any pros in doing this or using this method, it says that is a low one time payment but mine was almost one month rent $940 something that I’m not getting back and if I leave and my apartment is dirty it won’t even cover the damn cleaning fee.
NegativeOne time fee non refundable it supposed to be a low fee but mine was more than $900, it doesn’t cover anything on your apt, they don’t give it back so what is this for then?
