What is Foothold?

More than 25 years ago, one of our founders, serving as the IT Director for a prominent behavioral health and residential services organization in New York, recognized the urgent need for improved tracking and reporting of their services, leading him to create a case management system tailored for his agency. As time passed, two additional agencies collaborated in enhancing the software, allowing it to cater to the diverse needs of almost any human services organization across the nation.

Currently, Foothold’s dedicated team and innovative software support hundreds of agencies not only throughout the United States but also in Guam and Puerto Rico. By leveraging our technology expertise combined with a deep understanding of human services, we remain committed to empowering agencies to concentrate on their core missions while providing them with the tools they need to succeed.     We are especially pleased that AWARDS not only supports set up and training of staff on the system, but provides us with a long term, ongoing support specialist who continues to help us make the best use of the system in our work. Foothold Technology is not a transactional enterprise, they are a real partner in human services!

    AWARDS is an easy to use, comprehensive tool designed for human services organizations. We spent years researching options and carefully considering the move from paper to digital, and finally selected AWARDS. In addition to the program having a wide array of important features (including outcomes reporting), it is affordable, can be easily customized and the customer service and support of the Foothold team is superb!

    Negative

    Not the fault of the software, but as we are located in Massachusetts we have specific document requirements that were preset in AWARDS. Our required paperwork limited us slightly in making full use of the AWARDS platform.

    Summary

    I could go on and on about the benefits of Foothold's Awards program. It is very easy to use. Change is hard for everyone and my staff was nervous about it but all migrations (for many program) couldn't have been easier. Of great importance to me was the tech support. I never have to wait to address a question or to get clarification. The software has actually made the management of my agencies, much easier. I have explored areas of productivity that I never thought was possible. Everything we need to provide services is easily in one place. We have successfully used Awards in various applications and it has been successful with each.

    - Ease and ability to customize.
    - Works well with state contracted programs.
    - Frequent new features and updates.
    - Numerous reporting features which support individual staff and support management.
