    Google's employee social network

    Date: Sep 07 2020
    Summary

I took the trial for Google Currents, and although it didn't offer anything new or exciting it is a decent employee engagement tool especially for smaller teams/organizations who are into G Suite.

    Positive

An answer to Microsoft's Yammer Google Currents is an employee engagement platform with the aim to help build a productive online community. It is a part of G Suite bundle and it can even be used to communicate with people outside your organization. It brings in a lot of current social network trends and is quite simple to use.

    Negative

Although it is pretty neat, it offers no reason to switch over from Yammer which has even more features.
