Quite possibly not. Nimble and Capsule can, in fact, thank PieSync for clinching the deal.
PositiveIt "just works". No single CRM seems to be effective for the different ends of the business that need one, and the cost of platforms that have multiple kinds of front end so they can claim to do it all is prohibitive. So synchronising the underlying contacts between multiple specialised platforms is an important requirement. Manually implementing and maintaining APIs between multiple platforms ourselves is a complete no-no, so this is perfect to keep our multiple CRMs (plus Google Contacts, so I know who's calling by caller ID alone) properly synchronised.
NegativeI accidentally added a feature from outside my plan during the trial period - custom field synchronising - which halted the sync when the trial ended. But customer services fixed it same day!

What a great tool
Date: Jan 20 2020SummaryI've been able to go through and set up customized syncs on the go and get this working for different workloads within the two systems. this is now used for automated workflows that have helped to speed up processes. we were using a bespoke tool for this which was a lot more money and less functionality and easy to make changes, this software fitted what we needed and worked.
PositiveHow easy it is to customise and tailor syncs that are currently in place. the pricing is hugely competitive as standardly this is done by bespoke programming.
Negativethe amount of entities you are able to sync, having multiple entities from one system which syncs to our other tools would be perfect. example sync invoices to our account team currently this only syncs contacts and accounts.

NegativeMy only issue, and it's not huge, is that there are some fields that don't sync because of the type of field they are. I found a work around but it would be great if for example, a drop down in CRM could map to a drop down field in HubSpot. There is also a little button that sometimes pops on automatically when setting up an integration that will sync the other way around. That has gotten me in to some trouble a couple times but I have to just remember to turn it off. Would be nice if it didn't automatically turn on.

The Ultimate in 2-Way Syncing
Date: Mar 23 2020SummaryOverall, my experience has been positive. I've run into some issues recently with one of the platforms we keeping synced, but that's not the fault of PieSync. Great product for keeping data synced up. Just a few things they could fix to make the product even more streamlined (the team function, the login mechanism, quick support responses). Other than those things, it's a great product.
PositivePieSync keeps data between platforms synced seamlessly. Setup is pretty easy as well as navigating throughout the platform.
NegativeBeing added to a team by another user doesn't give you access to look at or work on their syncs, making the team function seem pretty pointless. The login using the verification code sent via email every time is annoying, should switch to a typical email/username and password login. Support can take quite a while sometimes. Have had same day responses which is nice, but have also waited 4-5 days for a response.

PositiveSetup was very simple and fast and the 2-week free trial made it a painless choice. The sync performance dashboard makes it very easy to spot any issues or holes in the sync, and the rules are easy to create and validate.
NegativeIt would be nice to have more versatility around syncing different data fields, like drop-downs and check boxes, but the limitations are understandable.

I did not have any issues but along the way I did have some general questions about the service and features. The company responded within minutes (that's minutes, not hours not days)

Syncing Done Right

PositiveFirst and foremost, it's SUPER simple to set up syncs. Whereas our previous syncing solution took a couple of hours to get up and running, PieSync took about 5 minutes.
NegativeMy only gripe is that I get logged out of the system relatively regularly. For someone who LOVES watching the real time report of syncs, this can get a little annoying (but just a little).
