    The perfect solution for small events

    In general a great tool with a great and quickly responding team. It does everything it promises. If only it would not have the escalating price tag when you have visitors above 500

    We are a small festival run by volunteers, but we have 14 venues open on a one day festival. Getting a schedule, location overview, communicating with your visitors, it is what you want, but what takes ages to set up manually, or on your website. Lineupr is tailored for this: you fill in your data and boom, there's a webapp. It is standardized enough for everyone to understand, but it has enough flexibility to make it 'your own' with simple color options and branding placement. And all this without installing a new app, something that for a small festival like ours is a threshold. So ja, it is really perfect.

    The pricing is a bit confusing. It seems that you pay for attendees, but actually you're paying for accessed unique visitors. So if you're a bigger festival, something like TMSQR could be a good alternative with a fixed price.

    We used LineUpr for the London Business School Women in Business Club’s EQUALL Conference this March, and it was such a great experience. The platform was super easy to use—we were able to set up our own app for the conference without any issues. We got a lot of positive feedback on the day from people saying how much they loved the app and how it made the conference feel super smooth and organized.

    Overall, LineUpr made a big difference for us, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone planning a conference or event.

    A few features really stood out for us. The ticketing system made it easy for attendees to book workshops in advance, which helped a ton with managing capacity. We also loved the push notifications! It was a great way to keep everyone informed throughout the day—whether it was telling people where to go for lunch, reminding them to sign up for workshops, or letting them know when to come back from coffee breaks.

    The app was also a really helpful way for attendees to check out the agenda and learn more about our speakers and sponsors.

    Negative

    While we loved the notifications feature it was great that we were able to write the notifications ahead of time, but there was no scheduling feature. This meant that I ended up carrying around my laptop during the conference to send each notification on time.

    I've used LineUpr in small and big events and will use this app in my future events too. It is very agile and accessible and UI to admin is very easy.

    Easy to use both as an admin and attendee, good and fast customer service, works perfectly and is not device dependent.

    Negative

    Disadvantage in browser based apps is that if an attendees share their credentials, anyone with any device and internet connection can enter. Could there be some restrictions to that like in Netflix and similar kind of services?

    Perfect for festival communication!

    We are very satisfied with the user-friendliness of the app. It was clear, intuitive and easy to use, both for our employees who entered the data records and for the visitors. If questions did arise, a contact person in the app was there to help and we could easily reach them by email or phone. We advertised around 250 events over 5 days in 8 rooms.

    We used the LineUpr app to communicate our festival programme. For five days, 30,000 people used this service. The press, which reported on our festival, also praised the festival communication via the LineUpr app.
    Helpful are the push notifications that can be set and saved in advance. The interactivity is just as good. Guests could save events and mark artists with a heart. This made it possible to estimate in advance how popular the concert would be. As the app is well structured, many individual dates can be easily entered and changed. We were also able to incorporate our CI, for example our colours, into the app.

    Successful event with 300 young people in Munich

    We used LineUpr Platinum with the “Program Registration” add-on for a major three-day event in Munich with around 300 young people (German-speaking). We used various locations in the city for the event, which is why the app was very useful for navigating between the locations. The participants could also use the profiles to see who else was attending before the event and get in touch with each other. We were able to introduce the other involved persons (moderation, Exhibitors, volunteers) in the “lineup”. As individual program items were only open to a limited number of participants, we used the add-on mentioned above. Overall, the use of the app was a great asset for our event - both from the perspective of the participants and for the organization team.

    Positive

    - Super customer support (also spontaneous)
    - Very user-friendly. Even people without previous knowledge were able to quickly find their way around the interface in the backend and fill the app independently
    - Very appealing for our young target group
    - Design can be adapted to your own needs (e.g. color scale, logo)
    - Messaging function was very helpful, especially during the event, e.g. for information about the next program item

    Negative

    - In the function for registering for individual program items, there was no overview of the “booked” program items for the participants - for some participants the registration had been a while ago and they no longer knew what they had registered for
    - With the export function (in Excel) for program registration, it is not immediately clear which Excel tab refers to which program item due to unclear names. It was therefore time-consuming to find the list of participants for a specific program item.
    - It would have been more advantageous for us if the participants had all had to fill in the participant profile when they first registered in the app. Many participants never completed their profile (and therefore did not answer our mandatory questions)

    We have been using Lineupr for our light art event "GOLDSTÜCKE" since 2020 and are very satisfied. The application is intuitive and quick to learn. If something doesn't work out, the support is fast, friendly and competent.

    The system is intuitive to use. The linking of categories allows the system to be used flexibly. The user has many options for obtaining information in different ways.

    Negative

    There is no series function for repeating programme items. These must be copied. If something changes, all copied individual entries must then be adjusted.
