Truckstop Load Board Reviews

Very dissatisfied that I am the account owner and cant even reach my account manager, not via email, phone, nothing. I have even requested a Truckstop manager contact me and all I have heard is crickets.

Nothing really, becoming more of a pain in the rear than helpful we have had nothing but problems with Truckstop for over the last year and can see why carriers and brokers are leaving the platform for DAT.

We have more problems with Truckstop than any other software we use. Anytime we want to call in to Truckstop to update our account we have to call them from our offices main number, not an extension, cell phone, or any other phone. If you do call in from any other phone than the main number the customer service rep tells our company owner that sorry your number doesn't match what is in the account and hangs up the phone call. They wont verify anything or even allow us to talk to our account manager. We have had so many problems with this that we have been locked out of our account for over a month now and can not get anyone to get this issue resolved. No wonder carriers and brokers are leaving your platform as you are making it so locked down even the account owners cant even talk to anyone or get into the accounts. Completely dissatisfied with Truckstop and their customer service they are providing.

It's been a Wonderful experience. I really wish that Truckstop could find a way to get a platform similar to Freightwave sonar.

I love the New Loadboard design. I get an opportunity to compare load which is good when I'm trying to determine what load to take.

I didn't like the that the old features that allowed you to send an email directly to the broker with having to click the load find out the posting person's email address then go to your email and send them a message.

So far so good. Good loads all top company top brokers.
Will use it for a long time not going away.

Al brokers information and good paying loads. Will recommend anyone to use. Everything is worth the money.

Nothing wrong with this load board I am happy using.

There are so many ways of finding the perfect load and the option of searching for the best paying brokers.

I like the estimated load rate and the option of deciding if you want the load or not also having multiple windows with different destination, overall I highly recommend Truckstop for your load board search.

Super easy website that has all organized to make loads more easy for dispatchers and carriers, whenever one of my friends start working I always recommend this website.

No cons at all, since I started working with this website I haven't had any problem at all.

I have liked Truckstop for 10 years now. It is one of the best load board sites available and it has helped me out tremendously.

The ability to reach our potential carriers to fulfill our customers needs. The program is one more useful site to help understand the trending information as well as stay up on how the market mat change.

The layout is a little less than to be desired and they have increased their prices very much recently. Lately the current rate information has been so misleading that it is not helpful. Pre-covid it had been reliable but the past year it has been more 'miss' than 'hit' on accurate rate data.

For the most part it does the job that I need. Has it's good and it's bad as any product will. It's my main source used.

Easy to use. Find most of my loads here. I use the route optimizers nearly every time I research loads.

Seems like I'm not getting the bang for my buck. Doesn't seem to update or post immediately like I was told for my subscription. Feels like I'm not getting current or factual postings.

Love it, I highly recommended. It gives you a lot of information regarding fuel estimates on each load.

Easy to find loads when they have the price.
I have 2 drivers so is easy to have different cities open at same time.

Lately loads doesn't have prices so you need to make lot of calls.
some brokers don't have the correct city of where you are loading.

It's reliable and reasonably priced, it has enough users that you can reliably find the loads you need. When you get down to it that is the most important part.

Has tons of users, which is about the most important thing for a load board. It is stable, with very little down time. Searches preform quickly and as expected.

Needs cleaner and easier search options. It would also benefit with more customizable trailer criteria.

Good experience using this board exclusively for my 9 years owning my own flatbed trucking company.

I have never not been payed by any broker off this site...I've had a couple make me wait but when I put that on the board site they payed right away.

No complaint. Would like more brokers to list their prices.

Very useful, lots of options to look for what you need. We use power only loads and will start posting loads soon.

It is pretty busy, takes a little bit to get to know the website.

Overall my experience has been great. 9/10 and I only say that because of the update last month but all of that has been fixed and was updated rather quickly.

Started using Truckstop 3 months ago and quickly figured out how to navigate and learn it with ease. Highly recommend!!!

Occasionally it takes a little bit to load in rural areas but it has always worked and loaded properly. Cons would also be update last month was glitchy.

I'm a very satisfied customer and will always continue to use truckstop.com as long as I am in the transportation and logistics business.

The old truckstop.com version was better. But this new version is great as well.

Always able to find the load that I need in the direction I want to go. It provides loads at the best rates. Truck Stop has helped me start my business.

A little pricey, I liked the introductory price a lot better. However, I need the product so I pay for it.

Attachment option would have been great.

Great selection of carriers. Great interface and display. Ability to organise loads in various ways.

Satisfied with the service provided. Updated frequently and includes sufficient details to make decisions about loads.

Easy to use with multiple search options and filters. The ability to see the rate estimate for prior routes is very helpful. Has the ability to store multiple routes/trips in load searches. Variety of brokers listed.

Searching on the app vs computer will sometimes return different results.

Overall it's ok but just that. There is room for improvement but I think there is a lot of hesitation in making those. They are well aware of things that are not as good as they could be but don't seem to care too much as long as there are subscribers. That is a shame because I actually like using the board but will be done with it sooner than later once enough relationships are established and nourished through different means. I do recommend it as a tool for newcomers but only if you don't rely on the app alone.

I like that it features easy customization to suit ones search preferences and the recent addition of marking favorite brokers. Truckstop Loadboard does have an Android app which is ok but more about that in the Cons section. There is also an ability to save favorite searches which is helpful if you want to focus on certain lanes. Overall, it is fairly easy to use and user friendly.

My biggest complaint about this Loadboard is that many loads are listed multiple times by the same broker. This gives the impression that there are many more loads available than there truly are. In some cases I've seen the same load listed over 30 to 50 times in a row (not an exaggeration) which is a joke and aggravating.

Brokers more often than not provide a bare minimum of load information which is probably more their fault than the Loadboards fault. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the phone/email qualifying a proper load. Most brokers don't care for boards and usually only use it as a last resort. Once you run for someone you usually get put on a daily email list of available loads with them. Cost is surely a factor here as it is quite costly for both, the carrier and the broker, but considered as cost of doing business at times.

I can't speak for the iPhone app since I use Android but the app seems to be an afterthought for sure. In these times that is simply unacceptable as more and more users only use mobile devices anymore. The biggest complaint here is that only a fraction of the loads posted on a computer show up on the app but still manage to display multiple same postings as mentioned above. It's not uncommon to see let's say 500 available loads in my area on the computer only to see 60 or soavailable loads in the app using the exact same search criteria. I've called multiple times about this and the response is always "we're working on that." This happens every single time so I wouldn't rely on the app too much at all.

It is very pricey if you want some "extras" such as broker credit check, etc. which in my opinion are a must in the beginning to make good decisions.

If it had a phone app with the same membership like DAT, i'm sure I can convince my boss to transfer over to Truckstop.

Even though it isn't as simple to use as DAT, it does have so many features that dat doesn't have that are for user convenience..

You should be given the option to remove certain detail columns for our convenience.

Very good. The factoring is exactly what the salesman told me.

I like the load board when I am at home on computer. I am a one truck owner operator, I also do my Factoring with truckstop. And I would very much encourage others like me to do the factoring through truckstop. It is GREAT, It is everything they told me from my beginning with them. I am very, very pleased

My issue is with the app. I would like to see a way to save loads that I am interested in, in to a list. I would also like a way to swipe loads that repetitively pop up 20 times on the search result. If you could just swipe left as you go to reduce your search results down to what you want to see. Also as far as posting my truck, I would like a way to keep my info in play so I can just change my location and date, and not have to delete the posting and then do it all again for a new location and date.
