Working with a remote team, Loom has been a great addition to our team's toolkit. We started using during the pandemic, but will continue with it long-term!

We use Loom primarily to train team members on new technologies or procedures. I love how easy it is to make an easily accessible video we both a video window and a nice big screen share.

No big complaints. The tool is fairly easy to use, but could be a bit more intuitive when you first start using.

I love using Loom for responding to email questions. Rather than typing out a long message response, I can respond via video and screen share to better illustrate the topic at hand. Very effective for sales and handling objections over email.

Easy to use, quick way to send messages that would take a long time to type, like how I can track to see if the video was viewed.

Is sometimes slow switching from tab to tab quickly, but not a huge issue.

There is nothing like Loom. Anybody can take a video from their phone or tablet - that part's easy. How do you share that video with anybody on any platform quickly? Sure you can upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox. You could send it via MailDrop through iCloud. How about screen recording with narration - how do you do that simply?

Loom fills a very important need with video sharing. Just use the Loom app and record your video. You can even do some basic editing. Share the link and you're done. It's incredibly easy to use and does exactly what it claims to do!

Loom is SUPER easy to use. It's by far the easiest way to take a video or screen capture (with narration) and share quickly with anyone.

Our teachers use it to record lessons and share them with their students - all they need to do is email or post the link to their video. It's great that they are just sharing the link, not the actual video file, so there is nothing to store or complicating file sharing service.

Loom offers their product free for schools which is a great and generous service.

Loom is dependent on the Internet as part of the process of recording and saving the video content. While very rare, this can cause trouble as the Internet isn't always reliable.

Loom is very good and very convenient; a much better solution than a QuickTime player.
The ability to record on the go during any environment is also flexible; you can share links, view who's watched your videos, and have a workspace to work with others on your team.

Very light weight, desktop platform, the extension also makes it fairly easy to record anywhere on your desktop or browser.

Not necessarily a negative, but there is a time limit on recording if you don't have a pricing plan, which is fairly cheap, starting at just $10 a month.

Have you ever set up a Zoom call or had a short meeting just so you could walk someone through something on the computer? Loom eliminates the need for this. The Chrome extension makes it easy to utilize it frequently. When I first added the extension I thought "I'll test this out" and weeks later, I'd found myself using it all the time. Highly recommend.

Loom is incredibly easy to use. There aren't tons of bells and whistles, but it's an elegant solution to a common issue.

I wish there was a way to move the video to a different potion of the screen, but not a huge downside.

One of our core tools in the business. Easy to use and we always communicate with it. Instead of meetings, we now have super short videos that people can watch - so that's cut down on wasted time too.

We use Loom to quickly and easily share ideas with each other and massively reduce errors and misunderstandings. We also keep most recordings to share with new hires or customers so we're building an easy training library. The auto transcriptions are also very useful.

Desktop app can be a bit temperamental, doesn't integrate with Zapier.

Loom is a slick product, easy to use and good interface. I find it very helpful to record notes for my team on various task that they can use for reference. Also their transcript feature is very good, I often use it to record calls on Zoom instead.

No strong cons. The UI of their interface could be a bit more organized in terms of folder structures and the workspace, but otherwise it's a breeze to use.

I find Loom to be an excellent communication tool. With your image, facial expressions, and tone, you can personalize otherwise cold data and information that you may drop into the screen.

So easy to use. I was given a class assignment to record a board orientation program. Instructor suggested we just use our phone. I thought, there's gotta be a better way. A quick search showed me Loom. I downloaded Loom, and within minutes, understood how to use it, dropped in a PowerPoint, received a 100%, and terrific feedback from instructor.

I found no negatives in Loom. What's not to like? You can pause, re-record, save and distribute a number of different ways.

It's an intuitive screen capture and sharing platform. We use this platform mostly when we are working on projects remotely. It makes it very easy to record screen with voice narrate to makes it easily understandable.

We have a variety of ages on our teaching staff. Loom was so easy and not intimidating to learn at all. Even our older teachers were feeling confident on Loom right from the start.

The unlimited time went away and now it's very limited for the free version. I understand, but it would be nice if the free version was at least 20 minutes.
