I would give a zero if I could!

    Updated: Mar 01 2024
    Summary

Horrible. The WORST company ever. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother using this company, it’s a waste of your time and money!
This company needs to be sued! The associate also make statements about gender that are not ok. Joking about why a medicine would be denied for a certain gender when the person is trans is not ok. They really need to be fined or sued. If I’m paying my co pays to get services, they don’t get to discriminate and be bigots.

    Positive

Nothing. All they do is lie. No one knows how to answer any questions at this company. Every single person (which is 20 plus conversations with different individuals) not one said the same thing. This company should have their license taken away and be shut down!

    Negative

They lie. Every single time. No one knows any answers nor do they care to get you any answers. They can’t tell me what pharmacy to go to. Which pharmacies are in network. Cant tell me what the approximate cost will be. Even though they are the ones who have full control over this? They told me the only pharmacy I could go to was one in the 30 miles in/around my zip code. Not believing this, I go online and see I can go basically anywhere. Called again and a different associate told me I was lied to. There are in network pharmacies all around me within 5-10 miles. Who trains these people??

They also lied, stating if my drug was covered and approved it would be approximately $240. For a three month supply. Lie. I get notification back it is $1200. For a 3 month supple even though it is “covered” though Magellan. Quite the difference wouldn’t you say?

Also told me they sent a pre authorization form
to my doctor like I asked them to. The next day I called and spoke to a different Magellan agent. She confirmed the lady I spoke to the day before did NOT send the pre authorization form over as stated. This was something that had taken over two weeks to be sent. No urgency. Just lies.

They also keep you on hold for 45 plus minutes stating they are looking for hours. Then decide to disconnect you and never call you back! Even though the first question they asked was for your call back number in case of being disconnected.

Again, steer clear of this company. They are the WORST and won’t stand by anything they stated in the past! They need to be sued.

They Don't Understand Law Governing Controlled Substances

    Date: Nov 13 2024
    Summary

Pathetic, avoid if you can. Don't use, avoid. Horrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible pathetic losers

    Positive

    Nothing, they suck!

    Negative

The company doesn't understand Pharmaceutical Law. They believe the 28 day rule applies to prescriptions that are less than a 30 day supply. A simple look at Federal and most state laws state that is the supply is less than 30 days, the 2 day rule applies, meaning 2 days prior to the supply running out, you can get a renewed prescription or a refill on controlled substances. They will just reject coverage for "too early refill" and make you pay full out of pocket. They don't have any understanding of the law and violate the law. They should have their license revoked.

Do not ever use the company

    Date: Nov 24 2023
    Summary

In October I called to make sue they had our payment info for prescriptions. I also revised my meds and my husbands. My husband drives semi and is away from home 3 months at a time. I was told he could do a vacation prescription or ask for 90 supply NO problem. They talked to me with zero issues and it was great. My husband comes home for our first vacation in over 4 years. He calls to talk to someone about his prescription. They tell him I have to call because the insurance is through my company. Then I call and they tell me they cannot talk to me but him due to HIPAA. I call back and asked to speak to a manager and get the lie that one is not available. Been a customer service manager and know that line also no one works without a manager working. They again give me the run around. Husband calls back. He is told they do not have his prescriptions. My husband calls the doctor who tells him they called them in back in August. They called them in again. We go on vacation for a week and come home no prescription and husband took last pill today. He calls they tell him not sent yet then cannot find. He gets transferred around. My husband needs this medication or he could stroke out and die. He is told he needs to call Dr and get an emergency 30 day supply. At this point my husband is so angry he hands me the phone to talk to them. First the person has zero active listening skills and keeps interrupting me. Then while I am talking hangs up on me. I start to call back and she calls back saying we were disconnected. Hmm don't think so. She then tells me she cannot talk to me until my husband gives permission. Lady you just talked to me. I demand a manager. Of course one is not available. I ask her who she thinks needs fired the lady who assisted me in October without needing verification or her that is playing games with peoples lives. She refuses to help and yes I cussed her all the way out. I let her know if my husband dies I will sue the company and all people involved. I call back asking for a manager. They lady says she can help which I doubted. I explained the situation as well as why I am angry and yelling. Am I supposed to be calm when my spouse is in danger because he cannot get meds I think not! She at least will assist barely. Again wants emergency meds. I explained not an option as he leaves Monday a Dr not available. Both her and other lady were working from home. You could hear the kids in the background. She allegedly is having a manager call us. I doubt that very much.

    Positive

Not a thing. I have had no positive outcome from my dealings with the company and in danger of needing more meds after dealing with them.

    Negative

You could die trying to get your medication. I would deduct stars if I could. Probably need blood pressure medication due to interacting with them.
