    In the stone age

    Date: Jul 17 2022
    Summary

AWFUL. The app has crashed my computer multiple times and is an absolute piece of $%#! to deal with. Please bring this product into this century. It is infuriating trying to navigate the upgrade or any support from EP.

    Positive

It's the "premiere" scheduling software so has somehow become a standard for narrative scheduling. The calendar to board functions are better than most.

    Negative

This app is so outdated and frustrating. The EP instructions and website UI to even get the update are all out of date.

    Desperately needs an update

    Date: Apr 22 2021
    Summary

The technical issue described above is frustrating enough that I'm looking at alternative programs.

    Positive

I use MM Scheduler because it's all I know. Telephone support has always been excellent. Reaching them any other way is a drag, though.

    Negative

I do have an issue which will probably result in my switching to Jungle software. I'm on Windows 10. Whenever I double click on the program to open it - and often when I single click on it, and sometimes even when I open it using a drop down menu selection - a prompt appears telling me that "an instance of the program appears to be running," and to close it down. Of course, no other "instance" is running, and I'm unable to solve the problem. Support talked me through solving the problem: go to Computer/Users/Name and delete the locked MM file that appears there. Great, but it's a pain in the butt to do this every time I open the program. I recently tried to email Support to see if this problem is ever going to be resolved - I've been dealing with it for two years - and I received a link to go to a forum. No, thanks. My wife has switched to Jungle, and I'm waiting for her feedback, but I'm probably giving up on this "industry standard."
