    Summary

Easy to use, billing and accounting is very hard. I would NEVER recommend Open Dental to any dental office.

    Positive

    Negative

Open Dental Cloud is TERRIBLE!!! We have had it for 3 years, and it glitches and freezes all the TIME! We literally have to close and re open Open Dental at least 20x a day!!! Our entire team at that!! We have been trying to get it fixed for over 2 years with nothing but excuses!! I would NOT recommend!

    Excellent Practice Management Software

    Date: Nov 21 2020
    Summary

We have been using the software for years, and aside from a very weak on site training offering, everything else has been exceptional. We find that all of our team members can navigate the software, and it is intuitive enough for our baby boomer team members to master. The customer service is very responsive and helpful and affordable.

    Positive

    Ease of use
    Graphical tooth chart.
    Amazing customer service.
Excellent add ons and adjunct software integrations.
Relentless upgrades and user suggested improvements.

    Negative

On site training was exceptionally weak but it was 7 years ago so hopefully they have tightened that aspect of their offering up my now.
