Easy to Maneuver

NegativeThere's not much to not like. The only thing that may become tedious is that it doesn't save filter parameters so when you come back to a work list or batch list, you do have to manually put those in every time.

Little Features Make a Big Impact
Date: Mar 01 2024SummaryOverall I have had a great experience with Open PM. I would recommend this platform for scheduling and billing.
PositiveA feature that I love is in the Code Tables. The ability to clearly look up and show all the active ICD-10 or CPT codes with the full description is something that I haven't seen on other platforms as well as in Open PM.
Some of the features that I have loved about Open PM are in the scheduling section. The ability to scroll to see other times in the schedule and all columns scroll to keep the time the same so when I'm looking at lining up multiple appointments for the same day I can see who has availability for one appointment to end and another to begin right away. Another feature that I love is the reschedule queue so the appointment doesn't stay on the schedule when we know that it won't be but we still haven't rescheduled the appointment to another time.
The Show Me How feature is always really helpful when I need to learn something new about the software. I don't have to call anyone to figure out what I need. The source is always available for what I'm looking for.NegativeOne thing I would change is in the Patient Dashboard. When expanding an encounter, the columns don't line up with the condensed encounter columns. I wish they would line up to be directly under the correlating column.

OPM is Great!

PositiveI like how I can personalize the system, it brings color to my workspace. I like the ease at which I can navigate through my posting screens to patient dashboard, etc. I like how if a mistake is made, the error can usually be undone and then redone correctly.
NegativeThe system tends to lag a lot when someone in our company is posting a large check. This affects everyone in the office as well as our remote employees.

Updated: Mar 01 2024SummaryI think overall it is a pretty good product. I can navigate it quickly and its pretty clear. It provides the information needed to check in and out patients.
PositiveIt is pretty easy to navigate the site which makes it very user friendly. I also like the layout of the site. I like you can scan ID and insurance cards directly into it.
NegativeIt crashes very often. I'm not sure if its our system of the program, but it tends to spin a lot.

I know a lot of thought goes into this software because all the features are absolutely necessary in an office. Aside from the nice color scheme and design, it is very easy to use. I love that I can schedule patients in just a few seconds.

Date: Mar 01 2024SummaryI didn't know much about billing before using this system but it was so user friendly and easy to navigate that out of all the EMR systems I use for our different clients, this is the one I prefer because there are less hoops to jump through to find or adjust and bill.
PositiveEverything is so keyboard friendly I hardly need to use the mouse and I love you can customize the colors.
NegativeThis past year it did seem like there was a lot of system outages so it did make working frustrating but I don't believe that has happened in a bit.

Date: Aug 10 2022SummaryFor the most part I have been pleased with the software and ALL it can do. There are still so many things that I feel I can learn from OpenPM. I am confident with the new help center, that I can find all the answers I need. The articles are very detailed and thorough.
PositiveI think this software has checked all the boxes for billing from start to finish. I am most impressed by the clearinghouse turnaround time. We are getting our claims processed and paid within a week. So many features available and the functionality is very user friendly.
NegativeCommunications between departments and users could be better. The interface issues that became apparent on our statements still have some kinks to work out. It is a "work in progress" but I am confident that we will get there.

Excellent Efficient & Intuitive Practice Management Software

I can say without any hesitation that OpenPM is far superior to any other PM product I've used. It works seamlessly with our EMR, is efficient and very intuitive. I was very fortunate to have an amazing trainer in Darlene which made my experience even that much better.
PositiveOpen PM makes the tediousness of billing and posting incredibly efficient. It is beyond intuitive and saves me countless hours of extra work. The reporting is concise and easy to use. We have not had any issues with speed as it is cloud based. We could not be anymore pleased and would highly recommend this product without hesitation.
NegativeThere is a rather large learning curve but considering the efficiency of the product it is so worth it.
