PositiveOnce they get your credit card you will not be able to get anyone on the phone.
You will have to constantly start over after getting bounced to different reps.NegativeSupport and setup is very frustrating. They only reply to emails after onboarding. They pick and choose which questions they want to answer. A few days later you will get bounced to a new representative and start over.

Don't trust their sales team

Sales Team promises all the features I like, but first day got the iPad, the app shows no service.
Sales Team, Onboarding Team and SuccessTeam gives different pricing. (I don't know what a mess they are doing inside).
You are going to spend a lot more hours on this and may still experience difficulties.PositiveThe idea is great.

Bad company, bad service, you will lose money

Half of all our orders have been lost over the last 6 months.
On the tablet we can see the name of the costumer along with the time the costumer tried to place the order but there would simply be no order. This happened over 100 times. We have lost thousands of dollars.
DoorDash quit working on the Otter system at our cloud kitchen location. Otter tried to fix the problem and somehow caused DoorDash to stop working at our other restaurant locations.
We now use the DoorDash tablet instead of Otter.

Date: Dec 07 2022SummaryOverall, it does make it easier for the staff but there are many things that need to be changed. The features can be improved to make integration easier and the support would be better if there is a phone number to call when we need immediate assistance.
PositiveIt helps link all of our TPOs in one spot which makes it a lot more convenient for our staff and allows less time going through to accept orders while being on the line.
NegativeThe support. It is almost impossible to reach out to support and there is only one option using the chat option which takes away time when a manager needs to be in the kitchen.

Good Idea Bad Implementation
Date: Mar 24 2022SummaryI believe over time Otter will improve. For what they are trying to achieve, it's a great idea. It looks as though there was a rush to get this software on the market without testing it.
PositiveI like the idea of having all the food apps in one place. I can get the order ticket from one printer.
NegativeThe software doesn't respond immediately to commands. For example, when an item is not available, it takes minutes to remove the item from the food apps (DoorDash and Uber Eats) restaurant menu. In addition, the tablet they provide does not respond on the touchscreen. The number of orders stops at 148 every day.

PositiveIntegrates with quite lot of delivery software and was pretty fast to be set up and the sale team was friendly.
NegativeThe system keeps crashing for hours, especially on busy time, when it happens they will not notified you so you can avoid to get your customers waiting.

They changed our menus for someone else restaurant and took days to get sorted.
Many function that they promised us never worked.
When the system crash and you need support they just sending general message saying that their engineers are trying to fix it and recommend you to deals with the order buy yourself.Official Otter Response
