We would like to have more permissions for users or a way to group users to only see select things. For example, we like a group of users to only see a couple of TVs and only see folders/presentations that only they have access to.

I'd recommend this software to anyone looking for easy, reasonably priced digital signage solutions. After looking for three years at different vendors and solutions, this is the one that we went with because it checked so many boxes for us.

Content is dynamic, matches brand, and easy enough that my admin assistants can use it. RiseVision continually sends out updates with new content for holidays and countdowns, so we don't need to worry about a marketing department. (Which is great since we don't have one). The platform agnostic player is great, which means we were able to reuse a lot of existing hardware.

There are some complex things that this software can't do. We use Hudl for sporting events, which doesn't integrate as well. Trying to set up a multiple display grid (for example, if we want to see all 5 of our main playlists on one display at the same time), hits the processing power max.

There is a slight learning curve when explaining the process to new users. The separation of Presentations and Schedules seem to cause the most confusion. If there was a way for them to be combined I could see that being beneficial.

Using Rise has been fairly easy and the feedback has been great. We demoed 2 other platforms and chose Rise in the end for our digital signage solution. It was backed by numerous reviews and recommendations from fellow colleagues.

I really appreciate how Rise Vision simplified getting information onto our displays and put everything under one management system. It allows us to micromanage down to different departments, who can then control the displays in their area. Most of our employees have been able to easily take hold of the built-in templates and edit them. The integration with Canvas was especially beneficial for our school district. Overall, it’s been the ease of use that stands out to us, and the initial setup was quick and easy.

The back end portal could use a little bit of reconfiguration. Sometimes you get lost in some of the menus.

It integrates perfectly with the tools we already use daily, like Microsoft 365, making remote content updates practically effortless for anyone on the team. Beyond just being simple to use, the functionality is surprisingly robust. I don't have to worry about complex graphic design since it comes with an extensive library of professional templates and a built-in AI presentation generator. It also plays nicely with a variety of hardware, which gave us the flexibility to use existing displays. Between the granular content scheduling and the ability to tie seamlessly into emergency alert systems, it gives me all the backend control I need while keeping the daily operation incredibly user friendly.
