    Rydoo: A good spending tool, may require some user adjustments

    Summary

    Our organization uses Rydoo to administer and manage all departmental expenses. As an international company with many subsidiary offices, our company supports a lot of business travel. Our sales team travels frequently and the entire company travels twice a year. We use Rydoo to pay for employee travel allowances and specific work-related expenses, meals, phone bills, office purchases, etc. We also use Rydoo to reimburse certain benefits (e.g., gym memberships). As a user, I can't think of many situations where Rydoo is not appropriate. From my point of view, it is very suitable for small to medium sized businesses. It is easy to use for non-technical staff. I sometimes use Rydoo often, but rarely, and I find that Rydoo is always suitable for my needs. Perhaps Rydoo is better suited for less complicated expenses, but I can't talk to it in person and I'm not an administrator.

    Email communication is very good. I like automatically receiving the "Reimbursement Report Generated" email, which allows me to download the report and track costs. There are several ways to add fees quickly via upload, webcam or email. I prefer to add the expenses manually, but when I try other methods, they generally fill in the expense fields accurately according to the receipt provided. The interface is very user friendly and easy to use. The cost can be dry and confusing, but Rydoo can keep everything simple, visually clean and easy to navigate. The dashboard provides a good overview, so you can easily see where all your funds are.

    Negative

    Sometimes, the software runs slowly. Sometimes, if you upload a receipt, Rydoo can take a long time to automatically parse the contents and bring it to the expense creation form. (However, once completed, it is very easy to create a rate). It would be great if I could crop, highlight and edit the receipt in Rydoo. For example, my phone bill is reimbursable, but I use a shared plan. When I upload the receipt, it also contains the bills of other members of my plan. I always have to highlight the part that belongs to me. I upload it to Rydoo first. This is secondary, but I expect that when I click on "Expenses", the default setting will show as "All" instead of "To Do". I want to quickly check the status of my expenses, but I haven't got a handle on it yet.
