MatrixCare
MatrixCare
Empowering care providers for optimal outcomes and innovation. For thirty years, we have played a key role in helping care providers achieve better results, and in today's changing industry landscape, our knowledge is more vital than ever. As the leading technology provider in the nation’s post-acute care sector, we take pride in being the only electronic health record (EHR) provider that focuses on the complete continuum of care. Inspire, formerly called Directions, is an annual conference organized by MatrixCare that gathers our clients, industry experts, and partners from various care environments to foster communication, cooperation, and innovation. Numerous home-based care providers work remotely, facing daily challenges in maintaining effective communication and collaboration with critical stakeholders both inside and outside their organizations. Moreover, the added difficulties of managing extensive paperwork and obtaining necessary signatures can greatly disrupt the continuity of care and lower the quality of care experiences, especially in light of the current labor shortages and increased workloads that the industry is experiencing. Therefore, it is vital that we continue to seek out solutions that tackle these issues, ensuring that every care provider can offer optimal outcomes for the individuals they assist. By prioritizing these efforts, we can contribute to a more efficient and effective care system that benefits both providers and recipients. -

MEDLINE
National Library of Medicine
Explore 29 million biomedical citations for groundbreaking research.MEDLINE is the premier bibliographic database of the National Library of Medicine (NLM), containing more than 29 million citations to journal articles that primarily cover life sciences and biomedicine. An important feature of MEDLINE is its utilization of the NLM Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) for indexing, which significantly improves both searchability and organization of the records. Serving as a fundamental element of PubMed, which is a vast literature database overseen by the NLM's National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), MEDLINE effectively connects users to a wealth of information. This database represents the digital advancement of the MEDical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System (MEDLARS), which was first introduced in 1964. The process of selecting journals for MEDLINE is heavily influenced by the Literature Selection Technical Review Committee (LSTRC), consisting of external specialists appointed by the NIH. The collection includes literature published from 1966 to the current day, along with certain significant works from prior years, thus offering researchers an extensive historical backdrop. In essence, MEDLINE serves as an indispensable tool for healthcare and academic professionals in need of trustworthy and well-organized biomedical literature, making it a cornerstone for research and discovery in the field.
