Date: Jan 31 2023SummaryI have used Syncro for nearly two years now and I would consider myself a fan of it. It was easy to learn the ins and outs, the workflow is convenient, and it is feature-rich.
In the future, I would like to see more options for customizing the user interface. In particular, the dashboard has a lot of potential, but I rarely use it right now because of its static layout.PositiveEase of use, multi-faceted, lots of integrations. The background tools in particular are nice for remote access.
NegativeUI lacks customization, some scheduled scripts have been broken and only run intermittently (support did not resolve this issue), Syncro Live service breaks sometimes after disconnecting from a remote client which breaks future remote connections until the service is restarted.

Great product, great support.
Date: Apr 24 2023SummaryReally happy with Syncro and the issues above are only minor with ways to work around that don't actually impede day to day use of the product.
PositiveEasy to use and easy to setup. Great support team with quick responses when needed. Third Party Updates also integrate with Chocolatey making this a really powerful third party patching.
NegativeFor our use, we didn't find the helpdesk side of it great, however the RMM was exactly what we needed and integrates with our chosen PSA/Helpdesk solution.

The only real con is that when reinstalling Syncro or reimaging a machine, a new machine is created on Syncro rather than overwriting the existing device. -

PositiveI love the integrations with Pax8 and Quickbooks. Recurring invoicing makes my life so much easier.

Easy to Use!
Date: Apr 21 2023SummaryI have loved Syncro since I started working on it. The software flows very smooth and is very easy for a new user to learn. Being able to see everything from the dashboard is a big advantage for us and we use the reporting monthly to keep track of employees.
PositiveEasy to use. User Friendly. Perfect for small business. Love the reporting and billing aspect. Syncro's RMM helps a lot with what we do on a day-to day basis and allows us to spend more times on the things that matter.
NegativeWould love to see some more ticket customization like not including certain tickets in the "response time" field on the dashboard.

Although this isn't the PERFECT platform, i don't think there IS a PERFECT platform. I will continue to use Syncro because our team loves it and it makes our day-to-day operation stress free...PositiveSimplicity of everything. Pricing model. Communication with its clients. Scripting. Even the community within Syncro is great!!
NegativeTech support can be hit and miss. Quickbooks connector isn't always the easiest to work with.

Small town feel
Date: Apr 01 2023SummaryOverall I do like the fact that Syncro is still caring about getting advice from their customers. It also includes a lot for the price. There is a bit of a learning curve, but nothing too hard. It would be nice for some additional security features to be added like ip restrictions for global admins, and 2fa for remote access and background tools. Overall we are happy with Syncro.
PositiveThe people at Syncro are wonderful, helpful, and caring. What other RMM/PSA vendor has an Ask us Anything? Syncro continues to get better and better.
NegativeThe Mac agent is still lacking some features. I would also like to see a Linux agent. It would also be nice to have a cheaper option to allow for a user to have access to a subset of the platform for like billing.
