    Overall, I would recommend Tax1099. No crazy bells & whistles to overcomplicate it - simple, efficient, effective.

    The site is pretty user friendly & the format is cohesive / uncomplicated in my opinion.
    My clients received the emailed and mailed 1099s with no issues and were happy with the timely results of the filings.

    Negative

    There was some confusion when emails were received about issues with EINs. We couldn't find what the email was talking about. so not sure if it was a general email or something we filed had triggered it.

    We have been using Tax1099 for many years. In the beginning, customer service was very good. It was easy to speak to someone via live chat or even with a phone call. Our sales rep was very responsive with issues and was easy to get ahold of to speak with. We have a new rep now, and Tax1099 has practically gone radio silent with support during this - our busy season. Now, the only chat to speak of is an AI chat support, which has yet to help me troubleshoot any problems we are experiencing. I finally managed to get an email through, but keep getting generic form responses to our issue - which is the result of something they changed on their end. Despite me asking for someone to call me multiple times, and asking for a phone number so I can call and speak with someone directly - I have gotten nowhere.

    We are also having major issues with a problem that has come up with filing for Alabama and are at a complete stand still until Tax1099 answers our questions. This has been going on for at least a week, and so far no one will call us or help us with a resolution. Every request for a phone call is ignored.

    I prior years I would have recommended Tax1099. Based on the filing support for this year, I would strongly suggest using a different software platform.

    Terrible customer service, lack of support after purchase, no phone number to speak to a live person, AI chat support is useless.

    It's a great product and priced right, would recommend to any accountant tax pro who has one or many clients needing 1099, quarterly tax forms or W2 filing.

    Kudos to Mechelle for helping me out in chat. Pretty easy to use software that is priced very reasonable. Much better filing experience when compared to Quickbooks online 1099.

    Low cost and relative ease of do not make up for an unresponsive customer support system for time sensitive filing issues like 1099s. A clear lack of understanding or caring on the part of the service....or perhaps both.

    Easy to file simple 1099 NEC. Save the time of registering with the IRS to file with the agency directly.

    Security could be improved and currently is only minimal.

    Overall self help and chat support was great. Great value and number of firm coverage. Exhaustive list of integrations also looks fantastic.
