    Overall system is user-friendly. Primarily, we are using auto-burn preconfigured setup. It expedites process for many departments and remove necessities of physical presence at unit.

    Positive

    System is easy to use during day-to-day operation. System is very flexible for import/export images. Beside CD import/export process, we can send/receive studies electronically between multiple archives. Easy to add archives that system can communicate. Auto-burn process is available. Support staff is knowledgeable, and they are fast on response back.

    Negative

    It locks the system when CD making process is initiated. You cannot perform any new task until initiation process is complete. It might take a bit of time if you initiate large studies. Cannot see incoming studies progress.

    We have used other CD burning solutions in the past which have proven to be very problematic and cumbersome to integrate into our systems. Support has always been an issue with previous systems as well. With the TeleRay Epson solution, these issues have gone away and we are left with an integrated, reliable product. We have been very pleased with this solution.

    Positive

    We have 10 Epson CD burning devices in our system for over five years and they have continuously provided solid performance with very few issues. When the occasional issue does arise, their support team is quick to respond and typically has the problem resolved in a timely manor. These devices integrate with our hospital PACS systems seamlessly.

    Negative

    The only potential issue relates to our end-users ordering the wrong supplies. These devices require a specific type of disk medium, which are readily available, to work correctly.
