What is Tibero?

Tibero has introduced an innovative Tibero Thread Architecture that effectively overcomes the limitations commonly found in earlier database management systems. Consequently, Tibero is able to optimize the utilization of critical system resources, including CPU and memory, while minimizing the number of server processes required. This design leads to enhanced performance, reliability, and scalability, all while simplifying development and administrative tasks. Moreover, it equips users and developers with a variety of standard development interfaces that facilitate seamless integration with other database management systems and third-party applications. Furthermore, Tibero employs advanced block transfer technology to enhance its TAC, which features a shared database clustering approach akin to Oracle RAC. This sophisticated functionality enables Tibero to support performance optimization through self-tuning mechanisms, comprehensive database monitoring, and efficient performance management strategies, ensuring a robust and adaptable database environment.
