Over the years, I've used virtually every 'reputable' company in the automated crypto tax accounting space. After a busy 2021 trading season, I preemptively reserved a VIP reconciliation from TokenTax because I knew, from experience, the automatic and self-service options were far from robust enough to fulfill my needs.

TokenTax delivered on their promises to complete my reconciliations by their deadlines. Company leadership and experts contacted me directly to understand my situation, quote me fair pricing, and touch my account when needed.

A complex crypto reconciliation has been delivered on time for two years. One does not simply do this.

Do not expect a quick turnaround or not to do any work. You need to provide your records and respond to the team's questions. Be proactive about discussing your unique situation and expectations.

Feel like I just lost money. The no refund rule is another example how a possible client can be taken advantage of with this company.

None that I could find. Disappointed that it's a bait and switch scheme. With money spent and no useful product given, I consider it stealing.

Spent $65, the system said I have to upgrade another $134, so I did, then it says I have to upgrade another $200. Money spent, still no useful product. No refunds allowed. Now I find that crypto.com does the same for FREE!!

Stress relieving. TokenTax has so many different and simple ways of imputing crypto trading history. From synchronizing my TokenTax account with the exchanges to manually uploading a .CSV file or just plain typing the trades into their online spreadsheet.

I agree 100% with these reviews. YES, TokenTax does an incredible job of retrieving your trading history from multiple crypto exchanges. HOWEVER, their true glory is the support staff. It is truly phenomenal! I was having trouble synchronizing my TokenTax account with one exchange. I clicked on the tiny chat icon and got an immediate response from Sean F. Sean, and later Sam B., were able to manually upload the .CSV file I had from the exchange archives and successfully link it into my account. Once loaded, TokenTax only took seconds to generate the required IRS Forms 8949 that I needed. I told our local CPA all the things TokenTax could do. He was over the moon to hear it. TokenTax was the tool he had been praying for to help his crypto clients clean up their records before coming to him. Again, THANK YOU Sean and Sam.

I've worked with TokenTax for the last three years. They reconciled my crypto activity and did full tax filings. Everyone I've dealt with has been awesome, you really get the feeling that they are there for you, from start to finish.

Customer service is unparalleled, extremely responsive to all questions. Everyone I worked with at TT was a pro. If you're stressing about your crypto filing this is the place for you, they're pros, 5 STARS!

I have been with TokenTax since 2017. First few years were easy. The more I got involved with crypto, the more complicated my taxes became as I was having more and more "Missing Cost Basis" items per year. Not being a tax professional, I find it very difficult how to undo those "Missing Cost Basis" items. Its always frustrating to pay more taxes than you should. Thanks to TokenTax team, they were able to help me undo most of those costs through incredible customer support via chat. Through the years I've had great help from a number of TokenTax service reps. In particular, "Elle" has demonstrated patience and care for the client. It is that type of customer service that keeps me coming back every year.

The ease of use. The customer support is active via chat. Able to access multiple people via chat. I like that TokenTax is connected with the majority of wallets and exchanges making it easy to connect API or send CSV files.

The major con is I am revisiting the same issues every year. The reason is I am nor properly documenting my transactions. I would like to see Token Tax take the lead in teaching its clients in properly document their transactions throughout the year. There are many software programs that assist in that, but even so, a person is left to figure it out on their own. If TokenTax came up with their own software I would be behind that. Or if TokenTax did zoom classes educating us "clients" I would sign up for that.

In terms of people, processes, and product, TokenTax is a standout. The people they hire are brilliant, committed, accountable, responsive, and genuinely kind to work with. Their processes have improved tremendously despite a very difficult service they provide. And lastly their software is superior to others, but again, it works for me because I expect to use it as a power tool, not something you magically dump your data in and it automatically spits out the number you owe. Given DeFi and crypto taxes are extremely complex, this is the best software available to help you organize the taxes you owe.

TokenTax has grown so much over 4 years since I first started using the software to collect all my transactions. Nowadays, they have advanced integrations for DeFi and centralized exchanges. The customer service is amazing. They're sincerely committed to being helpful and kind to customers. But more importantly, no one is more expert than this team. You'll hear others larping they know as much about crypto taxes but it is undeniable they're at the bleeding edge of crypto tax knowledge. They continue to hire the smartest folks from the likes of KPMG (Arthur Teller) and others from places like Microsoft who actually worked on the Excel product (James).

While I currently use their most advanced enterprise level service, previously, I've used their lower tier software package when my taxes were simpler and they were amazing to me back then. However, the last 2 years have required a finer touch and I am please to say they've over-delivered on this top level service. Few businesses meet my expectations nowadays, but TokenTax continually exceeds them.

I heard from some random complaints on Twitter back in fall 2021, when the crypto markets started taking off and TokenTax was growing like gangbusters. I have to say I truthfully didn't experience any such growing pains with TokenTax, but at least now, in 2021/2022, I can firmly attest they've scaled up significantly to provide the most unbelievable level of service.

One complaint you hear is "they don't support all blockchains" or "they're missing a DeFi app" and neither are true. Because a) you can upload any CSV for any blockchain transactions and b) you can also upload those separate transactions for new DeFi apps. There's hundreds of DeFi apps that come and go so you can't expect TokenTax to support every protocol with deep integrations.

Can't thank TokenTax enough for making my otherwise complex crypto taxes smooth sailing. Initially my conversations their staff put my mind at ease, and their diligence, personalized and prompt responses to my specific issues, and attention to detail on completing my really meant the world to me. TokenTax proved their pricing is worth it, and I look forward to working with them again for all of my cryptocurrency accounting and tax filing needs.

• Candidly, I have zero cons. TokenTax took extremely good care of me from start to finish. Perhaps the only thing I could critique would be that it can take up to a day to get back to you, but the attention to detail in their replies more than make up for that small wait.

I will be using their service again. All start ups have growing pains. TokenTax has its share. But I feel these are the right people to be working with for folks who want to file crypto taxes properly.

- TokenTax team is deep into crypto and are on top of the latest trends and changes in different token types
- They are highly responsive
- They understand tax law well

The software is still buggy and requires a lot of manual updates and changes.

Also I felt the crypto side of the house was a lot more in order than the non crypto tax filing side of the house.

My experience with TokenTax was wonderful. I was able to turn over my records and they processed them entirely. The team was pleasant and professional.

The team practiced great communication and were very thorough with my reconciliation and filing. I very much appreciated their patience with my somewhat disorganized presentation of my records and their ability to investigate and problem solve when I was stumped by one of my own confusing transactions.

Due to their popularity and volume of new paradigms in the cryptocurrency space, deadlines were pushed out. I do not count this against them however!

I've been using TokenTax since 2018 and they have helped me through every tax complication that's arisen. I HIGHLY recommend the TokenTax VIP level of service. I have done trials of new competitors' offerings and nothing has come close to wooing me away from TT VIP.

I have no complaints about TokenTax's services. Staff have been exceptionally approachable and solution focussed whenever I've needed them.

I waited until the last minute to seek help with my taxes after it became apparent there was no way I could sort them out on my own. They helped me file for an extension and my excellent rep, Elle, went through all the strange protocols I interacted with during DeFi summer 2020 and got everything matched up. I was many times more confident filing with TokenTax than I would have been on my own.

Everyone was friendly and helpful while handling the filing process from start to finish. All deadlines were met.

Lack of status updates for long periods of time.

Overall I am more than pleased, as taxes are a headache no matter who you are. The service I received today was par none.

Eugene from TokenTax was extremely thorough and responsive, and walked me through the entire process of integrating my crypto tax data from the exchanges to TokenTax. He was patient, took the time to elaborate, as made my life 1,000% less stressful. If you need a crypto tax service, do not hesitate to jump on board because TokenTax is the best there is.

Loved it all, no complaints here. But it wants me to use extra character so here it is.
