If It Seems Sketchy, It's Because It IS

    Date: Jan 05 2024
    Summary

As a small business owner, this is devastating to me. I had a client whom I was using the platform for, default, and break our agreement. I tried to explain the situation to Traffic Roots, and of course, it's days before my account manager(who by the way acts like I'm inconveniencing him every time I send an email) responds. Meanwhile, my other ads have arbitrarily stopped running (even though there is budget left and they have now plundered my bank account for another $1,250. So now I have to face bouncing my office rent check, in addition to possibly losing the paying client with the lower ad budget. Even though I now have a credit of over $2k, this client's ads haven't been running since December 20th. Before I posted this review, I considered using up ad the budget, even though my rent will bounce, but these guys aren't even going to let me do THAT.

    Positive

Easy to get started, seems cost-effective CPM-wise, but as soon as they have your money, though, they RUN!

    Negative

The monthly minimum budget is $2,500 and then they charge $150 for the (self-serve) platform fee, Sometimes you're billed twice in a month, but errors are never corrected. The WORST part, however, is the unauthorized bank debits. Once they have your credit card information, they'll just take money out of your account without prior notification or authorization. Protesting this, I was told that I signed a contract and that it would be worse for me if their lawyers were to go after me to enforce it.
