    SOAP API so slow more than 50% of requests fail with a timeout

    Summary

    Slow, and frustrating. The majority of queries take 10 seconds or more, many will sit there for over a minute, and then come back with an error 500, and an SQL Server error from TS's database server. Not good.

    Positive

    There is literally nothing good to say about this API - other than that it is is in fact an API. Oh, I suppose it's also to do with travel, so it at least does what it says it does (really slowly and badly).

    Negative

    Terrible API - very slow, think it was was written by a college student as a work experience project. Really really bad.
