• Explore deeper connections by integrating various learning materials, including text, PDFs, audio, images, code snippets, and LaTeX mathematical expressions.
• Effortlessly generate flashcards from any selected item, enabling you to create cloze (fill-in-the-blank) style questions with ease.

Effective and Unique Learning Tool Supported and Backed by Learning Science
Date: Apr 26 2023SummaryThis tool offers effective learning. Period! You have to ask yourself will the tool really help me and not get in the way of the learner. Traverse has great versatility from it's stripped back minimalist design, to it's assimilation of core ANKI features including retaining the entire deck schedule upon importing a deck from ANKI.
Being able to visualise concept maps and quickly create flashcards from the map (faster than Anki), and having multiple unique case uses, it's hard to go past it for impact.
This site focuses a lot on the software and it's functions. I think the Founder is very supportive of the community he has created, and puts his money where his mouth is. His approach has promoted real growth in the Traverse.Link learning community and the tool deserves more and continued recognition.PositiveThere aren't many tools exactly like Traverse.Link. It seems to have steadily developed the core features and provided a chance for learners to focus on actually learning. Provides so much opportunity to reduce distractions and helps learners focus on understanding the core concepts and examples before moving onto memorising a topic.
NegativeFor this reason, it is missing some features you would expect to find in an atypical up to date LMS. While this may be in the cons category, it must be said that Traverse really removes and reduces the complexity and distraction of using a digital tool for understanding, memorising and applying new learning!
