    Like others I was moved to Turbify from my LONG time use of Yahoo Small Business. Yahoo went through a few other transitions but overall I liked much of its service, one transition was pretty bad but nothing compares to the move to Turbify. I have never experienced customer and technical support as bad as this in my many years in this field.

    I really have nothing to add to the other reviews here except I moved to Dreamhost and have nothing but the highest recommendation for Dreamhost versus Turbify. Dreamhost customer service is excellent (do have a little wait time if you use chat but again nothing like Turbify), they can actually FIX the issue for you, they follow up. And their pricing is much better.

    Stay away from Turbify or move to something like Dreamhost ASAP. (I am also one of those who very rarely writes reviews but feel it is important in this case.)

    We started with Yahoo and all was well. When we needed to make a change it all went sideways. They locked us out and refuse to help in any way. Hours with "Tech Support" and not even a shred of understanding, compassion or caring. We are now out of business and so far unable to get it recovered.
    There are many better options at a fraction of the price.

    I am trying to think of anything good to say. The best I can come up with is that I'm glad I don't use their services.

    Everything is automated so if you have a problem they cannot help you.
    Support is from India and you cannot understand most of what they are saying.
    Their website and tools are archaic, and look like something from the 1990's.

    I had an account with Yahoo for over 20 years and now Yahoo gave toT urbify. They are junk and no help. When you call, all I get are non American English speakers. I am hard of hearing, and I can understand American English, like you hear on the Radio or TV. I sent a 'message' and then again, a non American English speaking person called. I told them I need to talk with someone who speaks American English, and he hung up. If they see this report, please call me. You have my number. But please find someone, anyone who can speak American English.

    When they disabled our business acc. with no warning, I called and they said they restored it, 72 hours later still no email, then I asked when it will be restored I get our backup team isn't in and they can only restore 7 days worth of backup, we've had this email acc. for 17 years and they can only back up 7 days, IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN DELETED. What a joke. if you have this company as a provider you need to find another avenue.

    Nothing. My website cannot be accessed. Nothing works on the Store Control panel and cannot do updates to pages. Servers could not locate the website.

    Everything. The updates don't work and caused my website to be inaccessible. I cannot get all the tools I should be able to get from the store control panel. I finally could get into the website but updates to items don't work from the home pages "new Items." In the category, updates to products time out and don't update. Clicks on the home tabs don't work and site times out. Clicking on the Publish tab times out and does not go to "publishing." I've paid since 2007 and Yahoo was great. Now this Turbify company hasn't got a clue how to fix anything. The reps are of course from India and very difficult to understand their accent. The connections on the phone are poor with a lot of background noise and static. Turbify, you are costing me sales and should compensate me for my losses. Turbify, you should have studies these updates long before you put all your customers' websites in jeopardy. You are negligent in your business practices and in breach of contract with your customers. GET YOUR MESS FIXED ASAP. Who am I is one of your questions, I am the owner of my website and your customer. Your reps have not offered much help. I called by they directed me to the pages to click "I'm affected." They should have submitted all my information to the whomever is supposed to know what they are doing.

    There are many excellent e-commerce platforms. DO NOT pick Turbify. We were on yahoo small business who sold the e-commerce platform to Verizon, and now this mess called Turbify. This company needs to go out of business and let competent competitor take over.

They sent us an email to renew and when we tried to access they have been putting us through a nightmare! Even though we have provided every type of proof it's our domain, including the emails they sent us to renew, they refuse to give us access! Now we are past our renewal date and our business website and email are down and we are headed into the busy season!!! We are losing business and they said we need to get a court order for our own website even though we've provided all the proof they asked for. I think they are trying to scam us to steal our domain and resell it!!! They should be reported. So many one stars someone should file a class action lawsuit against them!!

    Turbify has damaged my site and has poor customer service

    My overall experience with Turbify has been utterly horrible. Run from Turbify!!! Really, I do understand that a data migration may have some glitches, but to nearly destroy a person's website and then make virtually no effort to correct it through a non-responsive customer service platform is unbelievable. Turbify should not be in this business.

    Turbify required me to change my nameservers. They migrated the data, and thoroughly messed up my website. My pages are getting 443 / 404 errors from Google (Google has even notified me). I have been in contact with Turbify for nearly 5 weeks, and the problem has not been corrected. My number of visitors and income have plummeted. Their system is not working and their customer service is bad - they can never provide any useful information in the rare instance when they actually respond.

    I have been a customer of Yahoo Small Business (now Turbify) since 2008. The service of the deteriorated along with the company name changed. There is absolutely no support for the long term customer at all. We are not able to send or receive our business email through our domains every couple of days. The tech support haven't a clue what is going and just blamed our domain. Our domain was not blacklisted at all. And the Turbify email server refuse to send or receive email through our domains. Our complaints fell into deaf ears. We lost so many customers because of they negligent of the issue.

    Please avoid Turbify at all costs.

    Turbify Web Hosting Not Working

    Since Turbify took over there has been multiply problems. They need to prorate their charges and not expect customers to pay for the time the website wasn't working properly.

    Friendly staff, yet it has all been outsourced to India and some language barrier. Turbify tech support told me the system is not working right, which I knew 3-2-23 and they are trying to fix it Thanks for the honesty.

    Tech support outsourced to India, very nice people, but some are not too tech savvy and some communication barriers. Turbify is down or not working properly and has been for a week or so, they need to prorate their charges to their customers and not charge for the time the site has not been working properly. I have not been able to edit my site since 2-26-23 and before that it would freeze up when I was linking audios, the right click does nothing, but left click performs several different tasks depending on what it feels like?? I look at the website one minute and it has the three bars for links and then the next time I look at it, it has it the way I designed it in the first place with links all across the top.

    Turbify / Yahoo Small Business used to be fantastic. There have been recent technical changes which have been inconsistently communicated. There is no access to my website or customer service at the moment.

    If there are problems - outreach via social platforms and would help customers.

    This has happened before and the thought of using a back up version of the site and the time it takes to check links, content etc.... There should be compensation for small businesses who cannot access their services

    There is nothing positive that I can say about Turbify service. When it was Yahoo Small Business there was more reliability with the service, now it as degraded.

    I have found out that my website for my small business has been down for several weeks. They didn't notify me, I found out as customer requests for quotes just stopped. I called them and they say that my database is missing and are trying to recover it. They can't give me an eta - something like 3 -5 business days. They have not offered to compensate for the outage time or yearly subscription. Front line support is clueless - always indicate that they need to reach out to engineering support.

    You can get a live person on the phone after long wait times. Often it is difficult to understand them because of poor phone line quality.

    Unable to understand customer support because of bad phone lines and heavy accents. Wait times that run into hours. No way to verify account like a pin that can be retrieved while logged into the account. They have changed DNS settings with no notification other than the website and email going down. No customer service chat service available. No customer service email available. No history of customer service calls available. A terrible help library.

    One day my 10 page site with drop downs and a contact page with 100 photos of my work was reduced to a single page. They don't know what happened or how to fix it, they lead you to believe it is someone else's fault and direct you to articles that have little relevance. The pseudo "tech" on the phone smirked at my comments as if to laugh at me for being frustrated. Sad since I was using the same host for 12 years. Total incompetency now. My business has suffered as a result of their inability to correct issues. My site was hacked and I reached out for help but none was available.
