Date: Feb 20 2024SummaryWe are having a good experience with using the uptime.com, we were able to get the notifications through different mediums when a website or an endpoint is down, which is what we look for at the end of the day.
Even though it doesn't have some of the features in their API's and as Terraform resources, we can still setup the things within the UI.PositiveIt has most of the features that are needed for monitoring the websites/applications from a user's perspective. Has API's & Terraform resources for most of the features. Support is pretty good and provides quick responses.

Best fit for Synthetic monitoring across other tools
Updated: Jul 02 2024SummaryIt's been 1 year since we've been with Uptime.com. We are very comfortable and happy with the tool. and we are continuing with this further with increased monitors count.
Positive- User Friendly UI, which is easy to understand and easy to configure
- Quick response from the Support team on the user issues
- Best Pricing compared to other tools which is budget friendly
- Capability to integrate with multiple tools like PagerDuty
- They are providing their best. We requested for Transaction checks increase, along with that we received Reports and Dashboards too.Negative- I couldn't find any drawbacks, we received more than the requested.

The perfect solution (with a few cons)

PositiveUptime.com is an amazing, excellent and exceptional tool for real-time monitoring. I like how it offers a wide range of monitoring, page performance monitoring, synthetic monitoring and response time monitoring. The user interface is very easy, straightforward and simple to use and also the pricing model is very fair thus making it affordable.
NegativeOne of the challenges is the mobile application on iPhone which doesn't allow editing checks. Apart from this nothing much to mention that require improvement.

PositiveSetting up this service was a breeze and it quickly proved its worth with fast, efficient monitoring capabilities. The time to value was impressively short, which is a big plus in our fast-paced environment. What particularly impressed us was the recent addition of more probe locations, something our team was eagerly anticipating. These updates came without any increase in price, reflecting the service's commitment to customers. We were going to start looking for alternatives because we required locations closer to our users but the Uptime team made it happen! Amazing!
NegativeNot much we don't like. Since we have Uptime in a tab all the time it would be nice if the pages didn't require page refreshes to get latest check status. Browser based push notifications would be nice too for alerts but the mobile app is handling that now.

In general, we are happy with the product and service provided and could definitely recommend this tool!PositiveThe product is easy to use. It's got a comprehensive set of different monitor types that you can setup. Status pages are also customizable. It supports sub-accounts which works great for multi-tenant access. The support team is very responsive and helpful!
NegativeThe only issue we have is that you can't migrate a monitor history when there is need to change the type of a check. But it's understandable as this ensures the accuracy of the service status history.
