What is Windows 7?

Windows 7, launched by Microsoft in October 2009, is a personal computer operating system that has seen its official support end in January 2020. Although it may not be as current as Windows 10 or 11, many organizations still rely on Windows 7 for a variety of reasons. Transitioning to Windows 10 or 11 is highly recommended to benefit from enhanced security measures and improved functionalities. A significant number of users harbor nostalgic feelings for Windows 7, appreciating its straightforward and intuitive interface. This lingering attachment often complicates the decision to upgrade, as familiarity can be a powerful factor in user preference.

Best COMPLETE OS since NT & XP.

    Date: Jun 12 2022
    Summary

Overall the best and last 64bit Operating System I will use.
Everything else is a piece of useless Junk App., like Gulag & iApple.
Programmers sure chose their own path to a computing nightmare.
(not to mention a defective and defunct Java language)

    Positive

    Control of OS by User.
    Control of OS by Administrators.
    No cellphone format.
    No built-in SpyWare.
    Completely Customizable.
    Small Hardware Footprint.
    Compatibility with hardware.

    Negative

Developers and paid engineers not supporting this OS in software anymore. Corrupt Corporate System. (Microsoft)
Too much overhead and lenience to developers. Bloated & unnecessary registry (not improved in successor OS's).
Saving software in too many directories vs previous versions.
(Program Files, Program Files (x86), Users/Appdata, ProgramData).
