I don’t have any cons to mention so far. If I had to pick something -like most people would, it would be the price, anyone would always appreciate a lower cost. However, with eMembership, you truly get what you pay for, and it’s well worth the investment.

Winmill has been attentive and accommodating. Any trouble we run into gets addressed quickly and efficiently. We get to talk to developers about solutions well ahead of implementation, so all parties know what is expected.

Our units are quite diverse and Winmill built our database to handle each unit's unique and at times paradoxical requirements.
There is enough flexibility built into the system to handle data sets we did not know we need until well after the database was built.
My specific inputs (dues and fees collected by employers) are very easy to understand and can be taught to new people quickly.

I have no real complaints about the database itself, only I wish our Local leadership would have devoted more time and resources into building it up earlier. Only one director participated in its creation, and so ours it more geared towards the payment and employer data. Other modules have to be added as needed, which again, is our fault and not Winmill's. Lesson; get everyone on board early!

As a MAC user, It is not as intuitive as I would like.

I give WinMill software highest marks regarding customer service, technology and for creating an interface that is streamlined and easy to use. The dedicated and expert staff and technical experts are readily available when we need them.

eMembership is a robust database with user-friendly data entry platform. It is the heart of our organization and keeps our member information safe with provides an excellent reporting tool to track all the data that we enter. I handle dues and membership reporting and our database is the main tool that I need to do my job accurately and efficiently.
Our organization, IATSE Local 800 engaged WinMill software to create our database in 2011. This was not a small task due to a merger of 4 IATSE Locals with 4 separate databases which containing duplicate members to be merged into one database, for a total of about 2300 members at the time. Once the project was complete, we ran parallel databases to verify the integrity of the information. The technical experts were with us every step of the way, providing expert technical support and training, both on site and virtual. The support did not stop once we were up and running. For the past 10 years, the WinMill team provided innovations for optimal performance and has offered solutions for our organizations growth and fluid needs. The team is highly responsive and makes us feel like we are their only client.

As with any customized solution, you will need to pay for these customizations. However, WinMill spends the time to understand and define your needs and gives you a good and accurate quote for your project. That is why I gave the it a 5 for pricing. There is rarely Scope creep and additional charges for your defined project . Your business is truly important to them and you will know what your project costs.

I would highly recommend Winmill software for your business solutions. Professional expertise is what you will experience with this team!

We liked the discovery process as well as the development and final functionality of the customized software. Great programmers along with a team that really got in tune with our needs. Understanding changes needed along the way and adjusting the software in preview sites before actual application has been beneficial as well.

That I would have to get back to you on. We are in our first year of implementation with Winmill and can honestly say that we are very satisfied with the team and product.

The entire staff is very professional. During our weekly meeting, the staff took their time to understand my ideas and worked hard to implement exactly what we were aiming for. I received followed up calls to ensure that the development process of our new program was going well.

The response time for a trouble ticket has been a little inconsistent.

Just make sure your organization has notes on any of the specific customizations you make, so that new employees know how to best use the system.

After the merger of 4 locals into one local, I was part of the team that researched a number of different databases. Our need was to merge 4 separate databases into one.
We decided on the eMembership database because it came highly recommended by other union reps and the cost of eMembership was very affordable. We have had no regrets and are very happy with our choice.

Our Winmill eMembership database is a very robust tool that all of our staff uses daily. One of the great advantages of this database is its flexibility and how we can build on this database as our needs as a Membership association grow.
