STAR Phonics is an innovative online resource created by Renaissance that aids teachers in efficiently and precisely evaluating their students' foundational reading skills. This assessment measures proficiency across 12 vital phonics categories and identifies a total of 102 distinct phonics skills, offering educators detailed insights into which phonics patterns students have mastered and which areas require additional focus.
