Med-PaLM 2 employs Google’s sophisticated LLMs, specifically designed for the healthcare sector, enhancing the accuracy and safety of responses to medical questions. It is worth mentioning that Med-PaLM 2 has the distinction of being the first LLM to reach an “expert” level on the MedQA dataset, which features questions modeled after the US Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
