List of the Top Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST) Tools for Linux in 2026

Invicti, previously known as Netsparker, significantly mitigates the threat of cyberattacks. Its automated application security testing offers unparalleled scalability. As the security challenges your team faces outpace the available personnel, integrating security testing automation into every phase of your Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) becomes essential. By automating security-related tasks, your team can reclaim hundreds of hours each month, allowing for a more efficient workflow. It is crucial to pinpoint critical vulnerabilities and delegate them for remediation. Whether managing an Application Security, DevOps, or DevSecOps initiative, this approach equips security and development teams to stay ahead of their demands. Gaining comprehensive visibility into your applications, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts is vital to demonstrating a commitment to reducing your organization's risk. Additionally, you can uncover all web assets, including those that may have been neglected or compromised. Our distinctive dynamic and interactive scanning technique (DAST + IAST) enables you to thoroughly explore your applications' hidden areas in ways that other solutions simply cannot achieve. By leveraging this innovative scanning method, you can enhance your overall security posture and ensure better protection for your digital assets.

HCL AppScan enables development and security teams to integrate application security throughout the software lifecycle. The platform provides SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, API, IaC, and Secrets security for code, applications, APIs, and AI-based workloads. Centralized insights help teams understand and prioritize risk, while AI-assisted analysis and agentic recommendations support faster remediation. AppScan connects with IDEs and DevOps workflows, extends security to MCP-enabled environments, and combines deterministic testing with human oversight to help enterprises develop and release secure, trusted software efficiently.

Invicti Web + API, formerly Acunetix, is a dynamic application security testing platform designed to automate vulnerability discovery, validation, prioritization, and remediation workflows for web applications and APIs. The product builds on more than 20 years of Acunetix DAST technology while incorporating AI, code-to-runtime correlation, and vulnerability management capabilities. Invicti can automatically identify web applications, APIs, shadow assets, unlinked pages, and undocumented endpoints across code, traffic, and runtime environments. Its scanning engine detects more than 7,000 security issues, including vulnerabilities from the OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Top 10 as well as business logic flaws. The platform supports modern single-page applications, JavaScript-heavy websites, LLM-powered services, role-based authentication scenarios, complex multi-step workflows, and stateful API testing. API security testing covers REST, GraphQL, and SOAP services while maintaining context across requests. Invicti uses AI-driven risk scoring based on more than 200 signals together with runtime reachability, exploitability, and business context to help teams prioritize security findings. Proof-based validation confirms exploitable vulnerabilities to reduce false positives, with Invicti reporting 99.98% confirmation accuracy for exploitable findings. DAST-to-SAST correlation connects runtime vulnerabilities with corresponding source code, while AI-powered remediation delivers developer-oriented fix guidance and automated validation can retest applications after changes are implemented. Invicti also provides agentic penetration testing capabilities that coordinate specialized AI agents, adapt attack plans to application behavior, investigate chained and contextual vulnerabilities, and validate findings using its proof-based techniques.
