The tool outputs essential metrics such as cycle time, setup time, and pricing. To facilitate the process, we provide two adjustable parameters that condense these elements into percentage modifications. Altering the setup override percentage will either extend or reduce the setup time required for bending tasks; this setup time is a one-off fee regardless of how many bends are made. As a result, an increase in the number of parts that need bending allows the setup time to be spread across more items, resulting in a higher cost per piece for smaller batches while lowering the cost per item for larger orders. After a drawing is uploaded via our 3D module, ToolBox accurately determines the necessary layers for folding lines, inputs the respective fold lengths and quantities, and creates a flat DXF file ready for production. This efficient workflow not only boosts productivity but also guarantees precision in folding processes, ultimately leading to higher quality outcomes for our clients.
