What is BazilleCM?

BazilleCM is a streamlined yet powerful iteration of u-he's modular synthesizer, Bazille, crafted to deliver an exceptional synthesis experience. Featuring two digital oscillators capable of engaging in simultaneous frequency modulation, phase distortion, and fractal resonance, it opens up a vast array of sound design options. The synthesizer also comes with a multimode analog-style filter that has six parallel outputs, complemented by two ADSR envelopes that enable tailored sustain slopes and a low-frequency oscillator with various waveform choices. Additionally, the 16-step sequencer allows for eight morphable snapshots, making the creation of intricate patterns straightforward. To enhance its versatility, BazilleCM incorporates multiplex units for mixing and modulation, a built-in stereo delay, and an assortment of audio-rate signal processors. Supporting polyphony of up to eight voices, it also features a user-friendly interface that is both resizable and customizable to fit individual preferences. With over 265 factory presets provided, users can find plenty of inspiration to unleash their creativity and venture into uncharted sonic territories. This synthesizer not only boasts a comprehensive feature set but also fosters a spirit of experimentation and innovation within the realm of electronic music production, making it a valuable tool for any sound designer.

What is ACE?

The ACE features a compact and ingeniously crafted modular design that enhances the learning journey for users. It achieves an impressive equilibrium, being simple while maintaining a depth of functionality. Despite its efficient use of space, it offers remarkable versatility, and its intuitive nature does not detract from its power. The architecture of ACE allows users to seamlessly connect any output to any input, creating a strong synthesizer that caters to both beginners and seasoned musicians alike. By embracing the concept of "boxes and cables" typical of modular synthesizers, it empowers users to craft their personalized instruments. As you start connecting the sixteen modules within ACE, the joy of experimenting with diverse combinations and exchanging groundbreaking ideas showcases the vast potential of modular synthesis. The two VCOs act as the main sound sources, yet ACE skillfully merges audio with modulation signals, allowing full-range LFOs to function as audio frequency generators as well. Furthermore, ACE’s oscillators mimic analog circuitry, featuring natural instabilities and various nonlinear characteristics that contribute to a rich and textured sound palette. This environment for synthesis not only fosters creation but also invites exploration, transforming it into an exhilarating platform for sonic discovery. With each session, users are likely to uncover new dimensions of sound and creativity.
