What is Adtran Total Access 900 Series?

The Total Access 900 Series is meticulously designed for use in Ethernet environments or when connecting multiple T1 lines. It features four T1 interfaces, one Gigabit interface, and two Fast Ethernet interfaces, which address both LAN and WAN requirements, and offers support for various platforms and user interfaces, accommodating as many as 24 FXS ports for analog voice communication. Moreover, these devices can be enhanced with SBC capabilities, enabling them to manage up to 100 concurrent calls. For instance, the Total Access 908 model includes a single T1 network interface along with eight FXS user interfaces tailored for analog voice services, in addition to an integrated DSX-1 port that facilitates smooth PBX integration (with support for T1 CAS or PRI) and a Gigabit Ethernet interface for either WAN or LAN use, marked under part number 4213908F1. Likewise, the Total Access 916 model is outfitted with a single T1 network interface and 16 FXS user interfaces catering to analog voice transmission, an integrated DSX-1 port for connecting to PBX systems, and a Gigabit Ethernet interface for WAN/LAN needs, associated with part number 4213916F1.
