What is CompliantIEP?

CompliantIEP reimagines your current Individualized Education Program (IEP) into an updated draft that includes citations and complies with both federal and state special education regulations, while also offering support for effective teaching strategies derived from the IEP. Users can easily submit their existing IEP or copy its text, prompting the software to assess and extract critical components such as present levels, annual goals, services, and accommodations, methodically updating each section and citing the pertinent regulations that justify those modifications. The compliance checks take into consideration specific state laws, ensuring adherence to more than just federal mandates; for example, an IEP from Texas will cite 19 TAC Chapter 89, while one from Louisiana will refer to Bulletin 1706, rather than simply following the basic federal criteria. Furthermore, the platform creates vital classroom resources mandated by an IEP, including custom assignments tailored to the student’s goals and accommodations, measurable objectives, present levels, progress tracking, and a detailed overview of each student's IEP history. This groundbreaking tool was created by a former special education teacher, ensuring that it addresses the real-world needs of educators effectively. By simplifying the IEP process, CompliantIEP not only improves compliance but also fosters better teaching methodologies, ultimately enhancing the educational experience for both teachers and students. With its user-friendly interface, the tool empowers educators to focus more on instruction and less on paperwork.
