What is Elementary?

Elementary serves as a specialized platform for data observability and reliability, specifically designed for analytics and data engineering teams. It offers extensive monitoring capabilities for data pipelines and warehouse assets, allowing for the detection of anomalies in areas such as freshness, volume, schema, and quality, while also merging results from dbt and custom tests into a single interface. Teams are able to investigate incidents in detail, trace impacts at the column level, evaluate data health and performance, and manage asset descriptions, ownership responsibilities, and governance protocols. The introduction of Elementary Cloud enriches the platform with features like dashboards, alert routing, tools for collaboration, a catalog, and workflows driven by AI. Additionally, an open-source self-hosting option allows for code-oriented monitoring within the client's own environment. This platform easily connects with a variety of tools, including those for data warehousing, transformation, business intelligence, orchestration, coding, and messaging. It features an MCP server that links AI tools to the contextual data provided by Elementary. Aiming to meet the diverse needs of data, analytics, and platform teams, it also supports business users in discovering, validating, monitoring, and understanding their data. By enabling improved visibility and fostering collaboration, Elementary ultimately strengthens organizations' capabilities in maintaining data integrity and refining their decision-making processes. As a result, teams can leverage these insights to drive more informed business strategies and outcomes.

What is DataTrust?

DataTrust is engineered to accelerate testing phases and reduce delivery expenses by enabling continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of data. It offers an all-encompassing toolkit for data observability, validation, and reconciliation at a large scale, all without requiring any coding skills, thanks to its intuitive interface. Users can easily compare data, validate its accuracy, and conduct reconciliations using customizable scenarios that can be reused. The platform streamlines testing processes, automatically generating alerts when issues arise. It features dynamic executive reports that provide insights into various quality metrics, as well as tailored drill-down reports with filtering options. Furthermore, it allows for the comparison of row counts across different schema levels and multiple tables, in addition to enabling checksum data comparisons for enhanced accuracy. The quick generation of business rules through machine learning contributes to its adaptability, giving users the flexibility to accept, modify, or reject rules according to their needs.
