What is EnRoute?

EnRoute stands out as the leading CNC software solution designed for routine cutting operations, nested-based production, and cutting-edge design initiatives. Our CAD/CAM software effectively merges 2D and 3D design capabilities with toolpath functionalities, accommodating a diverse range of CNC machines including routers, lasers, plasma cutters, waterjets, and knife cutters. By utilizing EnRoute, users can fully harness the potential of their CNC Router without incurring substantial initial expenses; a modest monthly subscription provides complete access to features that elevate productivity and revenue opportunities. The software also simplifies the process of creating Symmetric Rapid Texture Features, enabling the design of interlocking components ideal for shelves and other constructs. Moreover, the enhanced simulation engine delivers a more realistic depiction of the finished product, and users can easily access short video demonstrations of each tool's functions by right-clicking on the corresponding button. With the launch of SAi EnRoute 7, the effectiveness and quality of cutting tasks have reached new levels, resulting in a more efficient and streamlined workflow. This significant upgrade not only accelerates speed but also elevates the overall quality of outputs, establishing a new benchmark within the industry while empowering users to explore innovative design possibilities.

What is DeskProto?

DeskProto is a versatile 3D CAM software designed for creating CNC milling operations across 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines. This program supports the importing of various file types, including 2D vector formats like DXF, SVG, AI, and EPS, as well as 3D geometric files such as STL and DXF, and even bitmap images. It also provides functionality for calculating CNC toolpaths based on your designs. Once the paths are generated, users can easily export the toolpath files to a wide range of compatible machines, as the software boasts an extensive list of supported models. DeskProto is offered in several editions: free, entry-level, expert, and multi-axis, catering to different user needs. Additionally, hobbyists have the option to obtain an affordable hobby license for the more advanced editions, making it accessible for personal projects. This flexibility makes DeskProto a popular choice among both professionals and enthusiasts in the CNC milling community.
