What is GagePilot?

GagePilot is designed as an intuitive self-service platform specifically for quality assurance teams in the manufacturing sector to streamline calibration management. Users can conveniently upload their existing instrument register in either CSV or XLSX formats, verify the information, and initiate the program without a lengthy implementation process. The web interface allows for real-time tracking of asset identification numbers, designated owners, physical locations, calibration schedules, due dates, results from calibrations, certificates, and noted discrepancies. A dedicated queue reveals the status of instruments, including those in use, nearing deadlines, overdue, or out of commission. Customizable email alerts help ensure that tasks are not overlooked. Moreover, GagePilot fosters team collaboration by enabling user invitations, maintains a history that can be exported, and offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. The monthly subscription fee is $99, accommodating the management of up to 500 instruments while allowing for an unlimited number of invited users. The platform's design prioritizes user-friendliness, ensuring accessibility for all participants involved in the calibration workflow. Additionally, its robust features provide a comprehensive solution that enhances efficiency and accuracy in calibration processes.

What is Calibration Studio?

Calibration Studio offers considerable benefits over conventional calibration techniques by employing a workflow-focused strategy that optimizes calibration and inspection tasks. The platform's primary functionalities include managing masters and instruments, handling instrument reception, conducting inspections, and generating certificates. It also facilitates the computation of Type A and Type B uncertainties along with the capability to display and print certificates. Auditors have the ability to examine measurement outcomes, uncertainty metrics, and pertinent certificate information to decide whether to accept or reject the instrument under review. Instruments that do not meet standards are sent back for recalibration or repairs, whereas those that meet approval criteria are directed to the suitable department for further usage. Moreover, the system's capacity for configuring metadata allows administrators to establish customer details, measurement units, categories, subcategories for masters and instruments, as well as measurement techniques and any additional fields, notes, or comments on the certificates. This adaptable solution not only boosts operational efficiency but also guarantees precision and compliance within calibration procedures. Furthermore, Calibration Studio’s user-friendly interface enhances accessibility for all staff members involved in the calibration process, ultimately contributing to a more streamlined workflow across the board.
