GhostBSD is a desktop-oriented operating system that is user-friendly and based on FreeBSD, incorporating MATE, OpenRC, and a suite of software packages to enhance the overall experience. Users can take advantage of a range of pre-installed essential programs, allowing them to fully utilize the system right from the outset. With its GTK environment, GhostBSD provides an attractive interface and a pleasant user experience that resonates with modern BSD platforms, creating a genuine Unix work atmosphere.
