What is Invora?

Invora is a self-hosted invoicing system for freelancers, agencies, trades and small businesses, sold as a one-time purchase with full source code rather than a monthly subscription. It handles estimates, invoices, branded PDFs, part-payments, receivables ageing, recurring billing that cannot double-draft the same cycle, clients with CSV import, tax rates and a reusable item catalogue. Outbound features run on your own credentials and ship switched off: emailed invoices and reminders through your SMTP server with a send log, and an .ics feed of due dates. Beyond the invoicing itself it includes a REST API with revocable keys, webhooks, an MCP endpoint for AI assistants, two-factor authentication, OIDC single sign-on, scheduled backups, an audit log and GDPR anonymisation. It runs on plain PHP 8 with MySQL or SQLite on ordinary shared hosting, needs no framework or build step, and never phones home.
