What is Mercur?

Mercur is a dynamic, open-source marketplace solution crafted for retailers aiming to incorporate third-party vendors and for businesses interested in developing multi-vendor marketplaces across B2B, B2C, or mixed models. Utilizing the Medusa framework, it effectively integrates marketplace features and APIs with a powerful operator admin console, extensive vendor management capabilities, and customizable storefront elements. Teams have the ability to oversee seller accounts, manage product catalogs and promotions, address commissions, process split orders, and manage inventory, shipping, returns, promotions, and seller payouts all from a unified platform. Developers gain from a TypeScript-based, modular architecture that supports personalized workflows and storefront designs, which greatly enhances user engagement. The primary platform, which is open-sourced under the MIT license, can be implemented in a variety of environments, such as cloud, on-premises, or secure air-gapped systems. Furthermore, an Enterprise edition is available with distinct licensing, providing advanced modules that focus on compliance, financial oversight, integrations, operational governance, and improved support for live production settings. This combination of flexibility and scalability positions Mercur as an appealing option for enterprises looking to broaden their marketplace functionalities with efficiency and ease. Additionally, the platform's adaptability ensures that it can meet the evolving needs of businesses in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

What is AgentaOS?

AgentaOS serves as a comprehensive platform functioning as a merchant of record, allowing AI agents and online sellers to efficiently handle payments for digital goods. Vendors can leverage various tools, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or utilize interfaces like CLI, SDK, API, and MCP server, to develop digital products and subscriptions, create checkout links, accept credit card payments, offer discounts, and manage invoices and payouts with ease. Acting as the official seller for each transaction, AgentaOS also addresses essential VAT and sales tax responsibilities, while managing customer invoicing and chargeback situations. The platform features both hosted and embedded checkout solutions suitable for both recurring and one-time sales, providing versatility for various transaction types. Supporting qualified sellers in 86 countries and buyers across more than 190 nations, it enables certain individuals to receive payouts without requiring an international business structure, contingent on the payout options available and a review process. Every user account comes with Pricing Intelligence, which assesses the seller's products, assigns a pricing score out of 100, and offers recommendations for potential enhancements to boost sales. Furthermore, there is an introductory plan available at no cost, which avoids monthly subscription charges, though transaction and payout fees will still be applicable. This blend of features positions AgentaOS as an indispensable tool for online merchants looking to optimize their digital payment workflows, making it easier for them to focus on growth and innovation.
