What is Microsoft Attack Simulator?

Microsoft's Attack Simulation Training is designed to mitigate phishing risks by automatically implementing security awareness training programs and monitoring shifts in user behavior. It assesses risk by developing a foundational understanding of phishing threats among users, improves behavior through focused training initiatives that aim for significant impact, and evaluates progress by examining the decrease in phishing risk linked to various social engineering techniques. A key highlight is the intelligent simulation feature, which skillfully pinpoints phishing weaknesses by mimicking real-world email scenarios that potential attackers could use against employees, and it streamlines the entire simulation process, including payload integration, user selection, scheduling, and cleanup afterward. Moreover, the reporting tools provide critical analytics and insights, allowing organizations to track training completion rates, gauge simulation success, and compare progress to an established baseline compromise rate. In addition, the security awareness training segment includes a vast library of courses and resources offered in over 30 languages, guaranteeing thorough coverage and accessibility for a varied workforce. This well-rounded strategy not only imparts vital knowledge to employees but also cultivates a vigilant culture against cyber threats, ultimately strengthening the organization’s overall security posture. By fostering ongoing engagement and learning, organizations can ensure that their workforce remains prepared to face evolving cyber risks.

What is Fallax?

Fallax performs internal phishing simulations within your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environment, offering real-time training for users who engage with simulated threats and producing documentation for compliance audits. These phishing tests are seamlessly integrated into users' mailboxes, which negates the need for a sending domain and eliminates the necessity for SPF, DKIM, or DMARC settings, thereby safeguarding your email reputation. When users inadvertently click on a phishing link, they are redirected to a concise training module designed to educate them. The timing and frequency of these simulations are customized for each user and automatically adjusted based on their past interactions, adhering to predetermined guidelines for pacing and limits. A single report can validate adherence to various compliance standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIS2, DORA, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR Article 32, and NIST CSF, while also integrating smoothly with platforms like Vanta, Drata, Secureframe, and Sprinto. Moreover, Fallax includes automated phishing analytics generated through an add-on for Outlook or Gmail, identifies the most commonly used applications among employees, provides performance metrics by department, and features a REST API along with an MCP server to enhance functionality. Hosted within the EU, the service complies rigorously with GDPR, ensuring that user credentials are not retained. To promote engagement, the first ten user accounts are available at no cost indefinitely. This multifaceted strategy not only improves security awareness among employees but also significantly strengthens the overall cybersecurity resilience of your organization, paving the way for a more secure digital environment.
