What is Monument Browser?

Monument Browser revolutionizes the downloading process by leveraging multiple connections to dramatically boost speed and optimize bandwidth efficiency. It also offers the capability to resume and restart downloads that may be interrupted due to lost connections, unexpected shutdowns, or network disruptions. This browser accommodates a wide variety of formats for capturing and downloading, including M3U8, MP4, MKV, MP3, VP9, AVI, and beyond. By enabling users to download files concurrently through up to 32 connections, it ensures remarkable acceleration in download times. Moreover, it allows users to manage downloads in the background while providing real-time updates on their status via notifications. Users can effortlessly intercept download links by browsing through the menu and selecting desired media files. The flexibility to resume downloads at any moment or modify download links in the event of a connection problem adds to its convenience. With a strong focus on safeguarding privacy, Monument Browser features an adblocker and download acceleration tools, giving users greater control over their personal data. Additionally, its stringent anti-tracking measures effectively prevent major data networks, such as Facebook, from tracking user activities online, thus promoting a safer browsing environment. This impressive combination of download speed, privacy features, and user autonomy positions Monument Browser as an outstanding option for those seeking to elevate their downloading experience even further. Ultimately, it caters to a diverse range of user needs, making it a versatile tool in today's digital landscape.

What is Falkon?

Falkon is a web browser created by KDE that employs the QtWebEngine rendering engine and was previously referred to as QupZilla. It is designed to be a lightweight browser that works seamlessly across all major operating systems. Originally intended for educational purposes, Falkon has grown into a comprehensive web browsing solution since its launch. It boasts essential features typical of modern browsers, including bookmarks, a history sidebar, and tabbed browsing capabilities. The browser also integrates an AdBlock plugin, which is set to block ads automatically by default. The project dates back to December 2010, when the first version of QupZilla was introduced, utilizing Python and PyQt4 bindings for its development. After several iterations, QupZilla underwent a significant rewrite in C++, leveraging the Qt Framework for its functionality. The inaugural public release was version 1.0.0-b4. Until version 2.0, QupZilla relied on the now-defunct QtWebKit, but later updates moved to the more modern QtWebEngine. With the release of version 3.0, the project transitioned away from the QupZilla name and has since been actively updated as Falkon. This change signified a major evolution in the project’s focus on adhering to contemporary web standards, enhancing user experience significantly. As a result, Falkon continues to evolve, aiming to provide a robust and modern browsing experience for its users.
