What is NetSPI Attack Surface Management?

Attack Surface Management plays a crucial role in pinpointing both recognized and unrecognized public-facing assets that might be susceptible to vulnerabilities, as well as any modifications to your attack surface that could represent threats. This function is facilitated by a combination of NetSPI’s cutting-edge ASM technology platform, the expertise of our global penetration testing professionals, and a wealth of experience accumulated over more than twenty years in the field of penetration testing. You can have confidence knowing that the ASM platform continuously operates in the background, providing you with the most comprehensive and up-to-date view of your external attack surface. By embracing continuous testing, organizations can adopt a forward-thinking approach to their security strategies. The ASM platform is driven by advanced automated scan orchestration technology, which has proven effective in our penetration testing endeavors for many years. Furthermore, we utilize a hybrid strategy, employing both automated and manual methods to consistently discover assets, while also harnessing open source intelligence (OSINT) to access publicly available data resources. This comprehensive strategy not only empowers us to identify vulnerabilities but also significantly strengthens your organization’s defense against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats. In a world where cyber risks are constantly changing, having a proactive and dynamic security posture is more critical than ever.

What is Insomnia?

Insomnia, an innovative penetration testing and offensive security platform, is the brainchild of CQR Cybersecurity, leveraging AI to execute a thorough suite of tasks aimed at specific systems. Its AI red team conducts extensive operations such as reconnaissance, vulnerability assessments, OSINT, CVE validation, exploitation, and privilege escalation across various environments including web applications, APIs, networks, cloud infrastructures, and Active Directory, culminating in a detailed professional report in formats like PDF, DOCX, or HTML that features CVSS ratings and suggested remediations. This all-encompassing tool boasts over 275 security modules that provide functionalities such as SAST and DAST, live key validation for detecting secrets, scanning for dependencies and CVEs, as well as testing capabilities for APIs and GraphQL. Furthermore, it supports wireless auditing, Active Directory evaluations with BloodHound, an HTTP interception proxy, and the ability to construct CI/CD pipelines. Accompanying this suite is Insomnia OS, a Debian-based operating system specifically designed for offensive security operations. For those interested, a free Community Edition is offered, along with a no-cost SAST engine compatible with pip, npm, Docker, Homebrew, and plugins for popular IDEs like VS Code and JetBrains. The paid Advanced and Pro subscriptions elevate the user experience with full AI automation, a rich database comprising over 30,000 CVEs, tools for exploitation, OSINT features, and mobile analysis options, positioning Insomnia as a formidable asset for cybersecurity experts. In addition to these features, the platform continuously evolves, ensuring users remain equipped with the latest advancements in security technology.
